He can't sing period. The guitarist sucks adn so does the drummer. You basically need a whole new band.

The Replacements are awesome, also check out Bash N' Pop and Perfect. As for other members past bands check out Honkey Toast, Love Spit Love and The Psychedellic furs to hear Richard tear the house down with his killer riffs and and solos.

No I dont collect audio from the old band because it takes up too much space. Im only collecting DVDs from the old band unless its soundboards or some rare show then I might consider accepting lossless. I dont trade for mp3's at all because in general their crappy quality.

is this one of the most painfull shows to listen to under the gnr name? Axl's voice was very inconsistent, the playing of solos were off at times, even seemed like timing was off.. The ycbm drumming intro sounded way off, the chord held during the intro sounded off.. The way slash bends the strings in certain songs seemed to be lacking..  I will say his screams during jungle and l&ld were quite good.. I did think KOHD slowed down was quite good... The little I am not going to pay for that comment looks expsensive was funny.. Show had good points and the band was learing them, but it seemed like a lot of butchering from vocals to timing to solos.. I don't know if this is a compliment to some or an insult but I couldn't tell richard from robin but i KNEW when BH was playing a solo.. I only have the audio.. Bucket head brought a nice presence to the show, didn't enjoy the solo part for him though, the weird noises the loud but meaningless playing.. That thing, thing is all I can call it robin played was horrible.. Nice beat but his voice was like he had a fur ball in his mouth.. I was longing to hear duff sing so   I do give him credit learing something to share with the people of rio though.. That's pretty damn cool... This ranks way down, wttj was fucking awfull..

They did improve as the tour went on no doubt.. To me axl's voice sounds best singing lower in kohd, and madagscar.. he had a better voice as in almost like a lounge singer that talks loud rather then belting out notes..

The fact that you said Richard was at RIO blows you're credibility all together. RIR3 was one of THE best gnr concerts EVER.

It took a while to get used to his version of Solo but Robin Finck just nailed both the RIR3 November Rain solos. It was full of emotion and feel...and I take it equal to slash's original. Everytime I listen to the RIR version, I can't help it not playing along with my guitar. Now that my string broke, I'm having a hard time listening to the RIR3 NV solo without having to pick up my guitar.

Anyway, those who love this solo, sign so below!

What about the people who made the shows originally? By trading you are also distributing their work, and they are getting nothing out of it.

Man, seriously are you that stupid? You have 0 right to make any money off bootleg dvds. Trading dvds is different, because that is what people made those dvds for. To TRADE not to sell. I really hope you are not part of the pc tracker.....

I don't think Rick was out to make money -- I think he'd just want payment for the disk and postage -- which is entirely fair IMO.

I also have dialup therefore the only way i can get bootlegs are via trade or by buying them. I don't mind buying bootlegs at all, i can't download them and i don't have many shows to trade.

IMO people can sell bootlegs all they want, however i do not agree with sales of copies of official material.

putting matt sorum on the best drummers list is sacrilige. Matt is without a doubt the most ham fisted drummer ever. His solos are boring and he just plain sucks. Adler is even better then matt.

This band is awesome, THE COMPULSIONS They are probably the best rock band out there right now. Richard Fortus has done some gust guitar spot on a few of their songs,a nd their currently working on a new album. They are also playing a show on the 24th of March @ Crash Mansion in NYC.
