Only Axl fans need to have this mentality to avoid feeling let down. I know you're right but that's far from being a good thing. And GNR fans have set the bar very low.

If so, when was it? I hate the lack of communication, the lack of releases, the lack of a real management, the lack of musicians who can play their parts, the promises of something soon all the time only to never get it, and the fact that the band seems to hate its fans for wanting new music. I'm getting tired of it, I just want something new from my favorite band. I want to keep supporting Axl, but he is making it so fucking hard by not doing anything. I love CD, I love the new lineups, they're better than the old ones. But I am at a point where I'm beginning to lose faith that Axl cares about us. He never does interviews so we don't know his thoughts, but what are yours?

I like CD, The Blues and Maddy from RIR3. Great versions, more stripped down, love em, honestly.

Better, TWAT and Catcher have demo versions which are better than the album versions.

If the World, Schacklers, Sorry, Scraped, This I love and Prostitute are subpar material. They suck live, they suck on studio. It's hard to believe Axl wrote them, specially the lyrics. But believe me, I tried to like them, a lot. I didn't wait so many years to give up on CD after 10 listens.

The set list complaints are valid.

They play all the songs the casual listeners want to hear and then some covers.

Disillusioned is a bit strong, I think many just have frustrations. Would you say that you have absolutely no interest in GNR anymore? I think this band is still capable of exciting you, ala the feelings that you felt pre-Brooklyn Bowl.

I'm pretty sure that telling people to log out of the forum has resulted in mod warnings in the past. Not really the kind of thing you expect from a staff member.

It's clear that the disillusioned fans are the majority here. So I could give these volcano-ish posters (like NGOG) the same advice. Log out. There's Jarmo's forum and MSL's forum where you're basically forbidden of having a negative opinion. It's the perfect place for the overly-sensitive Axl fans.

There are TWO boards that are all about the new band, and yet the sensitive Axl fans prefer to post here. I simply don't understand these guys.
