Morris - To be honest I don't think Age has much to do with it ( If you listen to Bumblefoot's early solo work he was playing like that when he was 25 )
Also I feel that Slash has gotten lazier over the years ( not improved ) and I think he cant even play the way HE DID in 1993 .
Bumble and Slash are both in their 40s now and they both play the Nightrain solo ( Bumble with Gn'R and Slash Solo ) and I know which one I prefer

I love Both Bumble And DJ and I hope to hear both of them on the next record
I don't think there is any rift between them and I don't think that the fans should try to stir one up ( its just not productive )

Thanks xGNRxSTAR !
I don't think it really matters who wrote the song - Bob Dylan Wrote "All Along The Watch Tower" ,but does anybody think that is Better than Jimi Hendrix's version ?
Take a listen to Bumblefoot's Fretless Solo from 4.00 in the Osaka 2009 video - I wish THAT was the studio version .
-
Its all about personal taste ,but for me there is Absolutely NO CONTEST - 2002 or 2006 or now are WAY better than the old days .
I love Buckethead's Solo in Boston 02 but I think the greatest Nightrain ever is Rock AM Ring - Slash couldn't hold a Candle to Bumblefoot even if you set him on fire ! lol
And listen to toAxl at 4.07 in the Rock AM Ring Vid - that is even better than 93 ( IMHO )

I wonder who Bumblefoot is mixing ....??

What do you think the Bonuses ( if any ) will be on the Vegas DVD ?
It says "Interviews" so I hope for full band .
I already consider the Audio CDs a bonus but if you could choose something realistic what would it be ?
Maybe an art book of stuff that was supposed to come with CD ? Or Maybe AFD 99 ? ( heard its not that great though )
Thoughts ?

All eyes on me huh ?

Thanks Shacklers Democracy
I think they were going to debut new songs at RIR 2011 as well ( probably Going Down ) but I think a few things went wrong - the weather and also a few behind the scene things ( not band related )
You could see Axl wasn't really happy at RIR 2011 - remember he stopped singing the end of November Rain ? ( at least that's my 2cents )

Super Excited about New Bumblefoot Music - His last few singles were great .
-
I guess both bands have their upsides - He gets a steady job in NIN ,but Gn'R let him be truly creative and lets not forget the better money .
I saw Robin with NIN in 2009 - I was actually more stoked to see him than Trent play ! lol
-
I will buy both Blu-Ray AND CD/DVD to get the full package ( then hopefully buy a few more copies to give as gifts ! )
-
I am sure we will get new music and probably sooner than later
Also don't forget that they might not debut new songs in Vegas ,but they are much more likely to play new stuff in Brazil !
-
To Answer the threads original Question - YES !
there is no need to wonder about it either - Axl said in the 2011 LA Times interview " Once I get the next things sorted out with the label, Then I feel I can get to that creative place that I've been fighting to get to , and to use Guns n' Roses to do so "
-
I think its fantastic news that this Blu-Ray is finally coming out !
I also think you guys should be a little more positive - if you don't want to buy it then don't , but Gn'Rs first official Concert DVD in more than 20 years is a great thing

Just Found Some Awesome CD Mashups
in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS

Those remixes were released on MSL's site last Christmas - they were made by Evader and a few other guys ( I think they also had artwork for each song ,but you will have to ask Evader where to find it )
