Just the fact that they haven't made a single promotional photo is a bit fishy. Less then a month before the shows and we still see photoshoped images of the three together. That speaks volumes for me. I don't think they are very close. Heck, they weren't close in the UYI era, so what do you expect.

I know somebody else brought this up but the fact that Rolling Stone has basically ignored this so far is...interesting. You'd have to assume there's a specific reason behind it.

Maybe a deal for that exclusive first interview and photo op?

This is what I'm thinking. Probably post the first "official" pic of the reunited lineup and have a write-up on it. Would assume Lemmy would get the next cover and they'd push any GnR cover to the next issue.

In America if Weiland didn't get a cover,Lemmy won't either. Let's hope Axl doesn't have beef with Jann Wenner over the RNRHOF debacle so we can get an in-depth story on this reunion.

Erin is life long friend with Slash and Meegan. I believe she is in one of the closest circles of Slash and GnR for that metter.

Last 10 seconds.... This could mean only one thing, reunion.

The records are pretty old by now and most probably in bad condition. In addition to that there is big difference between raw matirial and ready to be sold well produced product. Who is going to dig out all this old material and actually work hard for who knows how long time to be able to create something distributable. The archive is most probably gone by now because of lack of maintenence.

With millions of dollars poured into the last album by the record company it still took many years to complete the album. What do you expect now with no real backing from the record company? I don't think anything, not even an EP is coming any time soon. Everything points out that Axl has let everybody in the group go (considering their solo activity), he is giving away platinum disks to friends, everything smells like retirement.
