I think the 8x10 has machine printed sigs - I always hoped they were real. I also have a couple of handwritten notes from a "Jill" at the Fan Club that was included in some of the packages over the 2 years they sent stuff.

It looks like it was advertised not as an original reel tape but a first generation copy through the record company?

So I came across this today (it's already sold). Maybe you guys have discussed this in the past but I thought it was pretty cool. Looks like it was sold with a COA from Bryn Bridenthal.

Gives a bit of an idea as to how the songs were sequenced on the demo. The COA letter says the songs are: Side 1: Think About You/Welcome to the Jungle (with false start)/Don’t Cry/Nice Boys/Back Off Bitch/Anything Goes/Mama Kin/Heartbreak Hotel/Instrumental/Jumping Jack Flash/Jumping Jack Flash (acoustic jam)/Nightrain – East Coast Junkie/Think About You (partial, same version) Side 2: Out Ta Get Me/Rocket Queen/Nightrain/My Michelle/You’re Crazy/Paradise City/Move To The City/November Rain/Shadow Of Your Love/Reckless Life/Rocket Queen (partial, same version.)
Any thoughts on this?

Congratulations Marc. Great book and such a great resource.

Marc - is this the studio where the first demo was recorded? . . . The pic says the studio was at 6277 Selma Avenue, Hollywood.

Thanks a lot for that - missed it. I guess I'll get busy compiling it!

I've looked but haven't found a thread where all demo collections have been listed and assembled by session/period for the AFD/UYI years. Does this exist? I have a ton of different demos but they are not assembled in any order.

I don't think anybody can play Axl's part. Not even Axl himself.
Adam Sandler is an obvious choice . . . http://pann.nate.com/video/15286792

The chords sound all wrong. Was Ashba in the band in those days?
No - thank god!

- Dertoit - August - @ Pine Knob - opening for Aerosmith
Glad to see someone else in my age bracket on the forum. Lol
Yep - same here. I still can't help cranking Appetite at every chance I get. I was in England on vacation in 1987 and they were bonkers over there already about GnR. I got caught up in it then - I had already seen them covered in Kerrang! before I got there. I picked up the EP, Appetiite and all of the It's So Easy and Welcome vinyl while I was over there (picture discs, poster baggs, etc). What a great trip!!!

Duff's solo albums are even better than this.
