  1. There are so many that stand out.

1)The first gig at the Troubadour 6/6/85 I already knew all the guys from seeing them in other bands but, seeing them all together in this band for the first time, really stood out. It was different this time.

Such a great post. Thanks a lot. That first photo just kills me since it's right before Hell Tour. Amazing that you've a record of that moment. Talk about being a part of history in the making.

  2. Hey, I see you get a lot of questions about Axl and Slash so I thought I'd ask about Duff before the whole world found out about him. Anything you wanna share. First impression on meeting him, any funny or fun memory, him as a musician then, etc. Thank you!

Still deciding on which cover of your book I wanna get then will hit up your store. Thanks so much for putting it together. It's great not just as a fan item but as a book on photography too. Don't know if you've done one yet but you should exhibit.

  3. A lot of people want a GnR reunion but I'm more interested in hearing Izzy, Duff and Slash jamming together now. It would be interesting to hear what the 3 of them would come up with today.

  4. A question--

How much does Duff's first book go into the UYI era (ie the UYI recording process, his opinion on the songs, firing Steven, the loss of Izzy), and the post UYI GN'R era (Paul Huge, Slash quitting, Matt being fired and himself quitting)? Does he talk about Axl wanting to go industrial or anything?

Which of the two biographies talks more about the UYI and post UYI era--Slash or Duff's?

I wish Duff did go into the music a little more, especially about recording Appetite, like Slash did. But his personal journey was a good read too.
