A little thing i've discovered, change the battery in the comp (looks like a watch battery), might not have enough power to start windows.

also, do you defrag the hard drive weekly? defraging will help speed things up

So, I just bought an iPod nanno, and I've already messed things up.

As I was charging it I have no clue how to use it and I pressed one of the buttons and it changed the language to dutch but I want it in english.

How do I change it back to english, will restore do it?

I don't care about what is on it that will get lost.

The computer that itunes is on has shabby internet access at the moment.

I've got a belkin router

and a belkin adaptor

both on pc's both with windows xp

1) would you use the belkin utility to run the wireless network or would you let windows run the network?

yeah, I did, even on two different computers

I have a video camera that I want to put the videos on to my computer, but the software that came with the camera (video recorder) doesn’t work properly (I just can’t get it to work properly)

Does anybody know of a good program I could use? Free? That’s not cumbersome to use?

You can buy a ‘card reader’ that you can plug into your laptop. You put the ‘memory stick’ into the card reader, then plug the card reader into your laptop.

temporarily, I have 2 computers in my home, one hi speed internet connection. I want to share the internet connection, but I don't want to buy a router. I have a d link 10/100 fast ethernet switch, can I hook this up to the two computers and share the internet connection?
