Agree - would show amazing growth on his part, especially after all the press about her selling that stuff on ebay. I know she said it was all stolen, but it doesn't take a lot of imagination to guess what he thought of it. But who knows... maybe time has healed more than just the Axl and Slash rift!

When did she say that? Was under the impression that she knowingly auctioned off that stuff?

  2. Hey Marc, have a few questions regarding the it´s so easy video.

    1) Why was it never released?

    2) What can you tell us about the making of the video?

    3) Who came up with the idea?

    4) What did the band members think of the final product?

    5) Who talked Erin Everly into starring in that?

    6) Lastly, is there anything you can tell us about the video, or making of the video that would that is not common knowledge?

    Thank in advance man!

  3. I was not at this Video shoot and don't really know much about the concept but I do remember when it hit MTV, it took off and was in the heaviest rotation. It took the band to a whole new level and then it climbed the charts until it hit #1 and also made it to hot 100 radio stations. A couple of months latter they put out Paradise City and that just sealed the deal for the band. They took over MTV with all 3 videos and yet they only did a handful of gigs in 1989 when they were on top of the world. 4 of them with the Stones with a worm up gig /Its So Easy video shoot at the Cathouse and a RIP Magazine party and I think 2 gigs in Japan. In 1990 I think ithey only played a few songs for farm Aid. UYI tour started in May of 1991 and then they toured for 2 years until they were burnt out.

It´s so easy was definitely a rad video as well. What can you tell us about the filming of that?

    1. When and where was it filmed?

According to gnrontour the date was april 11, 1988.

04.11.88 - Ballroom, Huntington Park, CA

    set: Sweet Child O' Mine

notes: This was the video shoot for 'Sweet Child O' Mine.'

    Nice, good to know!

  4. Hey Marc SCOM has always been my fav video from the band, eventhough they have produced some remarkable music videos, the raw authetic feeling from the early productions is just undeniable. Thought I would take the opportunity and ask a few questions regarding the making of that video.

    1. When and where was it filmed?

    2. Who thought of the concept, and why?

    3. Do you know what everyone did before and after shooting the video? Did they gather before to go through the shooting? Did they do something special after? Or did they just go home with their girlfriends?

    4. When the video hit, how was it received by the public?

    Thanks in advance man!

  5. I knew Erin well didn't really know Stephanie she was out of town a lot. Beta was always the one around with Stephanie's kid. Their relationship is not really my business to tell. My job was to make sure they had what was needed to get to the next gig and also document Slash and the rest of the band. Relationships are very personal.

    Was Erin at your wedding?

No, They were not together at the time of my wedding

Thanks for the reply man. On the subject of weddings, do you know why they decided to elope to Vegas? Were they not planing a "real" wedding at one point? Read something about Axl wanting Nazareth to play "love hurts" at his wedding.

  7. What were Axl and the members of the band´s opinion about aids/hiv during the 80´s? Axl obviously had a more relaxed and open mind apporoch to sex, but do you know if he understood the seriousness of the disease and took the necessary precautions?

  8. So much money had been poured into making that album; he had to put it out at some point. I would say some songs are great like, "This I love", and "There was a time". However other songs just feel like something they put on there because they had nothing better, after all those years you would think that would not be the case.
