I always refer to Izzy as the driving force and he genius behind most of GNR's best stuff. Totally love that man. Humble and mysterious and just amazing. He's always been my favorite member. He caught my eye in the Paradise City music video, and I've been hooked ever since. He's what caused me to look into GNR further.
Definitely a great guy and an amazing musician and totally underrated and outshined by Slash and Axl. Just my opinion, everyone has their favorites. But, from what I've seen, Izzy definitely contributed greatly to the overall sound of GNR.
