That would be so good for all of them. Believe Duff has worked with him before with the last Ozzy record. Hope it happens.

fuck blues based cock rock, these songs are bangers.
You are high as hell. I also bet you started liking GN’R sometime in the early mid 2000s. Sorry guys, what made GN’R great was all 87’- 93’.

From the band that brought you Appetite for Destruction and Use Your Illusions, the masters of blues based hard rock 😬 This sounds very…different, unique. If that’s what they were going for, great. Personally I think it’s a waste of what they’re best at. The bits I like are the hints at the old sound, end of Monsters in particular. In parts Axl sounds out of tune in his own song because the key/melody is just so weird. Weird!
Blues base hard rock is right, that’s why I like the Stones so much as well and they were a big influence. I don’t know, it’s like I want to like it just because it’s GN’R but just not good.

Very disappointed. Sounds like something a kid in jr high would make, at home. Terrible.

Just watched Don’t Cry and S. Hoon. The band was so good back then. The energy they put off was off the chart. I was a freshman in HS in ‘91 so I remember how popular they really were - do you think it was all of Axl’s diva behavior that truly broke the band?
The video kicks ass. If rest of concert is like that, wow.

Personally I think the instrumental part is good... It has a groove. I really don't know who wrote the lyrics , if it was Axl, Pittman with Dizzy or the 3 together... But it's a weak melody and with tempo flaws! A begginer mistake.
Slash inputs are much better in the studio than it has been live . Don't get the british accent on this one. I get it on Down On The Farm, here it doesn't make sense. The bridge is cool because it's a left turn ...
Sayin that , you can write, rewrite, record, re-record, tweak here and there, produce, over produce... A weak ideia always will be a weak idea, no matter how hard you work on itI like what you say here. I think over the years AXL got so technical/worried/perfectionist, whatever you want to say. You make a song, release it. Rn’R is not supposed to be perfect. I don’t totally dig this song, but it’s a step. Just release what you all have made or re-recorded, some will like it, some won’t. People will still come to see GN’R. They probably missed out on a a lot of good albums because of worrying about the perfect GN’R record. Hard to come out with your best album first. Hard to live up to.

I have never liked this song, glad they didn’t put it on CD. That being said, I do like the guitar/riff parts in this song now. I still don’t know if I like the song. The lyrics are kind of lame and that break/slow part could be taken out. But, new GN’R (kind of) release. I was 28 when CD came out and 11 when Illusions was released. Sure would like a new album also. Let’s hope!

100% yes and I never thought I would ever say that. Been a huge fan since 87’ and no longer have interest in live shows either even with the big boys back. Seen them over 10 times first in 93’, sad to say.

No, Axl did with no new music.

No new album. Funny how some artists can put together an album in 6 to 7 weeks and GN’R can’t in almost 5 years. So much wasted time with this band. It’s easy to say, no we don’t have any new music coming out or yes, we should by end of year. This band could have been one of the all-time greats, but pissed it away.

Even musicians who have died can figure out how to put out new music. It’s amazing!!

Embarrassing went out the window with this band in the 90s. Announce the release of a new album or announce retirement.

Wow, this is amazing, can’t wait for this children’s book. Rock on!!!!!

Damnit, 78yr old Dylan found out how to put an album out during Covid. How does that happen?

Get attention by putting out an album, this is stupid.

I can’t believe I have become one of the negative fans. I have been listening/loving/sticking up for these guys since 87’, but no longer. It’s a joke, sorry folks, nothing new, nothing interesting and this is from a guy who bought pit tix for at least five reunion shows. Can’t tell you how many times I have seen different variations of this band since 93’. What a joke.
-
It’s official, nostalgia act and don’t want to produce anything new. Fuck I hate saying this.
-
Absolutely amazed how non- productive/complacent this band is. Absolutely nothing new from these three (together) since 1991 (original music). How is this even possible? Retire.
