not always. for example, germany was a country with a lot of culture and education when the nazis reached the power... in fact, freedom hasn't much to do with culture and education. freedom is a state of mind, an attitude. being suspicious of all kind of power is a good start. the native americans were more free than the europeans who discovered "america". and durruti was a great man.
