True. You have a Dexter quote in your info so we're cool haha. Finale was good.
It certainly was. The seasons go by too fast.

I don't know if you've been on these forums for years but that's a debate that has been dabated over and over again. I think it's cool for Axl to explain why he kept the name, even though we didn't need to hear it he could have kept it to himself but he decided to share that with us.
I think it's a damn cool thing to do and not just because he's Axl Rose but because it's great to hear some answers about subjects that have been talked about at nausium.

Axl, I have always wanted to hear what YOU have to say about Guns N Roses. I have to say, it's been tiring all these years to always hear Slash, Duff and Matt continuously talking about it. When I saw Behind the Music I was hoping that you would have been interviewed stating your side of things. I felt that was an Axl bash fest.
The rant in Albany was a peak at what you had to say about things and I am so enjoying reading your posts and hope that you continue. Thanks alot, this means alot and this is something you didn't have to do and you chose to do it and for that, I thank you!

New Axl pic
in 2006
...I think I see her scary muff poking out of that ridiculous outfit !!!Ridiculous is right, damn that outfit is down right hysterical...you meet Axl Rose in an outfit like that, what was she thinking, whats with that belt.

I can say this quite clearly: Other than Velvet Revolver, I do not hear any truly creative, spine-tingling bluesy guitar rock coming out any more.
I, for one, am not giving up hope - the world of music needs all forms, and right now we are damn short on good R&R!
I totally agree, R&R really needs to come back full force. It scratching and crawling it's way back into mainstream and it's not there yet. I agree, I hope Axl can add to this as well. I personally don't the like the mainstream music of today and I am hoping for a full rock n roll reunion of sorts, new bands and old bands to fill the radio waves once again rock2

I can't pick just one. Darkside, WYWH and The Wall are all equally great to me.

Would've been Hallowed Be Thy Name, but I guess I have to choose...
You'll take my life but I'll take yours too,
You'll fire your musket but I'll run you through
rock1
Hallowed by Thy Name what an awesome song I used to love Iron Maiden. I picked The Trooper out of this set. I think I may have been the only 14 year old girl that had pictures of Eddie in my room. I also had a shirt that said on the front Iron What and on the back Iron Fucking Maiden. Mind you I always had to wear a jacket in school when I had this shirt on rock2

I love it, although it reminds me of my friend who killed himself in 1985, RIP.
I was big into Floyd when I was a teenager, getting wasted, watching The Wall couple of times. Not only do I love The Wall but Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here all great albums.

they used to hold parties where birds could only get in if their tits weighed a certain amount. oh and many were issued with 'dikklicker' passes which meant they were allowed to, well, suck off the band.
and why the hell not
I heard something like that when I watched the BTM on them. They used to have a place under the stage where women [mothers and daughters sometimes] would go and all sex acts would be going on under there. See what woman will do for rock stars, with their daughters even

I like Def Leppard alot, I used to love them when I was about 14, or 15 I can't remember, how sad, when Pyromania was released, I was so addicted to that album. When you think about it they have had alot of hits throughout the 80's and early 90's. I am going to see them at Keyspan Park in Brooklyn, NY on July 9th.

I think Tacoma 200 is the best 2002 show.
i have been trying to find that show for some time now but i cant seem to find it.. any idea where?
edit: congrats on 1000
I have only seen Rio, New York and Albany and out of those - Albany was the best by far. I haven't seen Tacoma but if you are looking for it you can buy here

From Long Island, NY the only band I can think of is Twisted Sister and Zebra but I don't know how world wide Zebra is.
-
I like both songs but this is a GNR forum so I would think most people would go with Patience.
-
I have to go with Tesla.

Cool, a thread totally just VR2004 and P4A!!!! I totally went through a disco stage myself.
I remember lots of those songs. I used to love Sweet Sensation - Hooked On You and Sincerely Yours, I loved Expose and also the song Ain't Nobody, I also loved All Night Passion, she sang another song that I loved and I can't remember the name. Remember the song Fired Up, if I keep thinking I can keep going. Remember the Break Dancing movies with Ozone and I forget the other guys name, Breakin. Ozone was hot.
I also remember the guidos and the I-Rock Z's all over the place. Also the SS Monty Carlos - I still love that car to this day. Sometimes I see them now but they just don't look the same. Everyone who had them back then, kept them in pristine condition.

Amen to that! Even though I don't know him personally, how can a person not stand him. Most of us have talked to him quite a bit online and he's always very nice, funny and makes sure to answer you back.
I have 3 of his albums and I can't get enough
