Welcome back to the jungle. Or the ultimate bungle. Really, it could go either way. And probably will.......

I fly out of Vegas Sunday evening and arrive in the UK 9am Monday. With transfers I get home at midday. That's fucking red eye!

Well I forgot about the crazies (I say that in a good way) that are flying in from all over.  These shows are gonna be insane.  Maybe Axl should be the one wearing the ear plugs.  What if he goes on a rant about us being too loud?  LOL

For me, flying out of BWI it looks like arriving Wednesday and leaving overnight Sunday into Monday it'll have to be through Spirit for $208 round trip.

Either that or Southwest Airlines arriving Wednesday and arriving back at BWI Sunday evening for close to $450.

    :shrugs:

Good luck.  Spirit is such a gamble (pardon the Vegas pun).  Plus don't you have to pay for a bag and a seat and to use the bathroom and to look out the window etc....?  I'm exaggerating slightly but you should weigh the 'extras' involved with Spirit vs a normal airline.  Plus the red eye factor.  I call all that the 'aggravation factor'.

Man, I wouldn't doubt it's GnR.  Almost all the other acts that would play stadiums this summer have announced, so by default a rumored stadium show anywhere at this point that isn't announced would likely be GnR.

i used to date a girl from St Paul spent a fair amount of time in the twin cities.

Paging @Eddie Money any Minneapolis date?

Someone should look up the last time both old and new Guns played back to back nights in the same arena and post the setlists so we can see how many different songs were played each night. Granted these statistics will probably be between 5-25 years old but I just wanna see the variety between the shows.

Well, "most guns fans" aren't part of the partnership known as Guns N Roses. Axl is. Duff is. Slash is. Axl held the name and the band through the CD era. When Duff came back into the fold, they played CD era tunes. Slash is no different than Duff.

If CD era Guns was "Axl's band" and not Guns, than neither is this. It's that same band, just with Slash in Dj's place and Duff in Tommy's place. This is not a reunion. This is just another development in the changing lineup. CD is a part of that band's legacy, whether you and "most Guns fans" like it or not.

Okee dokee then.  That settles that.

Chinese Democracy is a Guns N Roses album. This band is Guns N Roses. They are going to play some CD songs, as they damn well should. Could Axl really drop that entire record from the live repertoire and continue to say with a straight face that CD was a legitimate Guns album? No.. He couldn't. He refused the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame because they wouldn't acknowledge that band's legitimacy, why in the hell would he drop that now? Like it or not, CD is a part of this band's legacy, and will be a part of the touring repertoire.

Springsteen's current tour has included at least one song per night from the early 90s era of his career - in which he sacked his entire band with no notice and continued recording and touring with an entirely different band. Now he has the E Street Band back, and no one bitches and moans that "it's not the same band."

CD is as much a Guns album as the album the Crue made with John Corab is a Crue albumi, or the album VH made with Gary Charone is a VH album- they aren't and they are better off forgotten.  Most Guns fans don't count 1993-2014 as a Guns era, rather an Axl era under the name GnR (just to stick it to Slash et al....and try and prove some point).
