  1. Drop:  Black Hole Sun, This I Love, Sorry, Seeker, Coma, (Switch out with Breakdown), Witchita Lineman

Add:  Acoustic You're Crazy, Acoustic Move To The City, Acoustic Used To Love Her, Breakdown, Mama Kin.  Do all three acoustics as a sit down set.  If that's too slow then just do two of them and rotate through them.

Would like to stop in here and introduce myself.Name is Dan and i'm from a suburb of the Twin Cities.Lived here my whole lfe.
Wanted to let anyone in here know that i just got home from work and started to upload my videos to Youtube.Only 3 so far,so you'll have to be patient ;)
Had rail between Duff & Axl right on the corner of the part of the stage that juts out,so had a pretty nice view.Think they turned out pretty decent.
Had a few songs that stopped while recording (camera issue while zooming,so need a new one with 4K instead),so had to quickly restart. So a few are in 2 parts :(
Let me know what you guys think and spread the word if you think they are worth seeing and sharing.

I have no idea but you're right.  I think a lot of it has to do with the way AC DC songs are written.  The other part is that at a GNR show, Axl's running around the stage.  when I saw him perform with ACDC in Fort Lauderdale, he just stood in one place and focused on his singing and killed it.

He killed it on the throne in Vegas as well.  Same constraints.

Why is it during every show people act like they haven't heard Axl sing in 25 years and the fact he isn't able to hit everything like he did when he was a young man is the end of the world?

Are you suggesting that "hitting" maybe 15% of the material is a win?

  5. Wednesday, May 24th...

    1.  Slash and Duff will come out and sit down for a press conference on top of Tower Records.

    2.  Axl will walk out next with Erin Everly by his side and the group will announce a new album to be released in November. He will also announce the "Get In The Ring" stadium tour beginning this fall.

    3.  A curtain behind the 3 will rise revealing Adler and Izzy standing at the ready with guitar and drumsticks in hand.   Slash will say "Let's fucking play" and the group will bust into the first new single off of the album as helpers toss a promotional giveaway of a "Not In This Lifetime" live DVD to onlookers - to be made immediately available on the Guns store.

    4.  Choppers land on the roof and the group boards them.  Axl leans out, flips everyone off and exclaims "See you at Slane, fuckers!" as the choppers rise and GNR ascend once again to the pinnacle of the entertainment world.

I've always believed that if they had somehow found a way to stick together in the mid-nineties and continued releasing music that today they'd always be mentioned in the same sentence as The Stones, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, etc...

They've been back at it one year with what's a greatest hits tour (and I'm not saying that to knock it) and still pulling in the big crowds. Somehow, even without a massive back catalogue, the band has never faded. The music they've released has truly stood the test of time.

Most of my friends and family would say that GNR is above at least Aerosmith on that list, and at least included in discussions with the other two.

  9. I agree with the folks saying it's an individual parenting decision.

At the Pittsburgh show there was a Mom and Dad up near the rail that had their 8-9 year old daughter with them and she was singing along to just about every song.  During SCOM they had her up on the big screen belting out the chorus.
