Apart from Springsteen, the weakest Rock In Rio line up I've ever seen.

No surprise that GnR isn't there. I don't believe people who say they will be in Europe in 2016 when promoters and festivals who tried to book them say they will only come in 2017.

And Eddie says he hasn't heard anything about Europe, only US.

Thanks for the advice. I'm a Blues fan! Hence planing to spend more time in Memphis. I also like Country music, just not as much. I'm planing to visit Clarksdale too on the way down to New Orleans.

I am really looking forward for this trip. The prospect of seeing Guns n Roses even makes it more exciting. You really got me thinking when you said they are going to be in Dallas on April 30. It all depends where they go next. Otherwise, I will have to wait for European concerts.

I'd like to believe that. Rock in rio May 26 and 1 or 2 concerts at BST Hyde Park would be my bet. But I don't know if I believe it.  We've heard from multiple festivals that GnR will not be in Europe in 2016.

If they're touring North America until mid september, the logical thing to do is:

-Fall 2016 South America

-2017 starting with Australia and possibly some shows in the Asian market

-Summer 2017 European tour

Download Festival France announced Korn as their last headliner. I don't think an European Summer tour is happening in 2016 anymore as initially rumoured. Most of the major festivals already have headliners and we've heard from multiple festival organizers that GnR won't be in Europe in 2016. Eddie Money also said that he hasn't heard any plans for Europe. 

In regards to Rock in Rio Lisboa, all we know is that they tried, just like any other festival that say GnR won't be in Europe this year. A one-off is highly unlikely.

Maybe GnR changed their minds or they were just gauging where they could make the most out of it. As we all know, GBP & Euro is weaker now. Could be that the $ market was the most appealing this time.

I guess we can all expect a run of shows in Europe for 2017, or even later this year. But due to the unpredictable nature of the main man, this reunion might not last that long
