  1. If anyone is still looking for hotel deals, this is the place to go

    http://www.travelvegas.com/

Sign up a free account and get GREAT rates. I'm staying Thursday-Monday. I cancelled my original room I had at Bally's ($90/nt) because I found Luxor for $65/nt with 2 free buffets on travelvegas. That rate is gone now (I booked 2 days ago), but still seeing great rates for the same stay ($69/nt at Excalibur, $60/nt Hooters, and Hard Rock, PH, and even MGM are all right around $100/nt). MGM and Excalibur also include the 2 free buffets.

Rates are higher for Fri-Sat night, so if you're only staying those nights it'll be higher.

And don't forget, most hotel bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the stay! Check your receipt to be sure. If you see a better rate here (or anywhere), book the better rate and cancel your old reservation like I did. Also, be aware that many of the best discounted rates on travelvegas are NO-CANCELLATION.

Hope this helps someone out, pretty great rates to be had!

  2. OMG you guys are ridiculous lol. Those are in ear monitor receivers. Belt packs. They are sitting on the monitor console. That mixer is what is used for each of their personal mixes. They absolutely would use the same gear for a rehearsal, a stadium tour, or a surprise club show.

Also HILARIOUS to think because these are Sennheiser brand that there's an Adler connection. These are the most common in ear monitor systems in the world for touring productions.

  3. Exactly Black Sabbath. Bands playing arenas carry everything, including the stage.

And the video screen in the center gets raised all the way up to the roof for the shows.

That 'scoreboard' video screen in the middle is only on the ground for cleaning or maintenance. It'll be in the rafters at the show.

  4. Some of you guys really like to take an unsubstantiated fantasy and run with it! :)

The sticks-likely are Ahead sticks (even though it's Ahead GRIP TAPE that we see the logo on, which could be put on ANY brand of stick. That said, they look like Ahead sticks). Yes, they are linked to only Sorum of the past GnR drummers. But did anyone think maybe these particular sticks are just for another member (Dizzy? Axl?) to do random percussion parts with? Cowbell or something?

As far as the mic's on Slash's amps-looks exactly like how a skilled engineer would mic a guitar rig for a live show. (I should know, it's what I do for a living).

No conspiracy that they're recording new songs a week before the tour begins. It's called dress rehearsal. All hands on deck, all crew, doing it exactly as they will at the live shows to work out the bugs with FOH and monitors. This is what rehearsal is for.

Also no conspiracy that they're somehow prerecording tracks for the live show because amps are mic'd up professionally. Again, read my post above about rehearsal. Derp. Besides, why would they need prerecorded guitar tracks with 2-3 guitarists on stage? And one of them is a guy named SLASH?

I mean, it's fun to speculate and all, but some of you guys need to reign it in a bit lol.

no problem. ps, this reply box is being glitchy for me right now...can't type anywhere but within this quote box, and I can't figure out how to get rid of it! lol

HA! Guess I figured it out. Also, check your PM's Original. I just messaged you about your extra tickets for Saturday.

Anyone figure out the seating chart exactly?   Like I called- section 8 is rows AA-DD then A-Z with seat 1 closest to Section 7.   Anyone have a clue what rows other sections start with?   Why is finding a true detailed seating chart so fucking hard?
