    Hey mate, thanks for sharing!

When did you get the package?

I have WTTJ pit tickets for Melbourne, but I haven't got my pack yet. Did you pick yours up at the gig? Or was it posted to you?

    Cheers.

  2. Just a note to those internationals like me with VIP packages.

I have confirmation for the VIP email team, that they'll be sending it to my hotel, the MGM Grand. They've confirmed that I'll get a post tracking number, so I can see where it is at any given time. If it gets there late, the MGM have no problems with forwarding it to me in Australia

    Problem solved! (Hopefully lol)

Watching Jungle live from Paris and imagining 20.000 people screaming and singing the song along with Axl and going nuts gives me the chills and brings tears to my eyes.

Sitting at Melbourne Airport with a tear in my eye reading this now. People looking at me thinking I'm sad, but they're so wrong. Tears of unbridled joy!

I swear to God I am so going to lose my shit when those lights dim. It's GnFnR baby!!!!!

Hey many I'm going to NXT, Mania and Raw too! Section 9R Row A for Mania! It'd be so surreal if I bumped into you at both Mania and GNR! Haha

    Holy shit man, nice seat!

I made the decision late, and as an add-on to the Vegas trip. But I did get a cool seat up in 236. Good view of the stage/ring/jumbo screen.

The whole trip is so epic, it's almost a pilgrimage! Dallas will be a blessed event, but the T-Mobile Arena will be my Mecca!

  5. Can't believe how close this is! Happy with the seats I ended up with.

Friday night - Section 5, Row L. Jack Daniels Club Access (not sure what that gets me) and Gold VIP merch (hopefully I get it, I'm from outside North America).

Saturday night - Section 214, Row A. Section furthest from the stage, but directly in line. Front row of it, so unimpeded view. I can also sit my old ass down when I need to!

Had my time in the pits, happy with a reserved seat these days.

In between now and these gigs, I've got Wrestlemania and WWE Raw in Dallas, so pretty pumped for the next two weeks. Realizing my childhood and teenage dreams!

I won't know a soul in Vegas, so I look forward to seeing you all at the meet-ups. I'll just look for the group of super-hyped 30 and 40 somethings!

I've got a concert with one of my favorite current bands next Friday, then I've got David Gilmour before the 04/09 GN'R show. It's getting increasingly harder not to look past those 2 shows, but I'm trying!

    Nice one!

I'm flying in to Dallas for Wrestlemania and Raw, 5 & 4 days before GN'R, then into Las Vegas for the Killers show at T-Mobile. They're no Dave Gilmour, but I've never seen them live. Gives me a chance to check out the arena too. I'll be going there 3 times in 5 nights!

For VIP people coming from outside USA/Canada, check this overview:

    http://www.axs.com/events/306249/guns-n-roses-tickets/promopage/4075?skin=tmobile

in the buttom of the page is info "VIP PACKAGE DISCLAIMER INFORMATION" and also has an email adress. coming from europe and also wanting to have my merchandise, i wrote to that adress and got this reply from gnrvip a few days ago:

    "Hi ,

Thank you for your inquiry. An email will be sent to you a few days prior to the show with information on how to get your tickets. The merchandise will be collected at the venue so no need for an alternate address.

     Best,

     VIP Customer Service"

    Thanks Lim666

I have also sent an email, and got a similar reply. So it looks like I'll get my merchandise after all!

    Here's my reply:

Thank you for your inquiry. An email will be sent to you a few days prior to the show with information on collecting your merchandise at the venue.

    Best,

    VIP Customer Service

    Love it!

Well. It sucks, but it clearly said that packages would only be sent to US postal addresses. I know, that's not helping.

i'm not the person who's not from the US last time I checked Reno NV was still here in the USA :P  there's someone else who is trying to get their stuff I think they are from Australia. so I am wondering if anyone who bought tix thru AXS from the USA such as myself has gotten their stuff yet?

    I'm the one in Australia.

I knew what I was getting in for, but I was up for a fight. Wherever there's a will, there's a way! Well, most of the time....

There is a part on their page which says " VIP merchandise will be shipped directly to each package purchaser, some exceptions may apply.  "

So I've been pestering them about the "exceptions" part. To no avail so far, but we'll see. :shrugs:

Either way, I've got a great seat to my most anticipated event in years, and I can't f'ing wait!

I'm the envy of so many people here in Australia. One mate says it will be shit because Izzy's not there, but got him to admit he'd kill to be there ;)

This will be sofa king epic! :headbang:

  9. Purchased my ticket only days ago, and have it today in my email! So f'ing pumped!

Paid a fortune for my Gold VIP package, and still fighting to get my merchandise. Why couldn't they just add a shipping charge for international customers?  I'm sure there are plenty of overseas fans coming to Vegas.

What are we, in 1980? Sigh. Would've thought it was simple these days.

Cheers to those on my side. I'll keep fighting the good fight for what's mine!

That's bullshit.  So where do they plan on shipping your stuff to?  You gotta call/keep pressure up.  I'm pissed (for you).

They don't plan on letting me have it. At all. Totally bogus.

Good advice mate, cheers. I will keep up the phone calls and emails.

I'd say ship it to a forum member in Canada or the U.S., but they might keep the cool stuff. ;)

But seriously, if it comes down to it I'm sure someone here would be willing to take it and ship it down under for you if you're paying for shipping anyways. Alternatively - ship it to someone attending the show and meet up with them there.

I thought the same thing. There's gotta be SOMEONE here that would take it for you and either keep it till the show or ship it to you.

Thank you fellas. They won't ship it ANYWHERE now. Judging by this reply

    Kim L, Mar 10, 9:39 PM:

The VIP items are only shipped within the U.S. and Canada. We are unable to change your address because your shipping and billing address must match.

    Thank you,

    AXS Guest Services

Disappointing, and as they have got a decent chunk of my $950, a better reply or offer would have been appreciated.

They dont ship to Australia?   Huh that sucks.  Have you called/offered to pay the shipping cost?

Yeah mate, I have sent an email, essentially asking about what options I have. Haven't heard anything back yet.

There are others on the forum with the same dilemna. I'm sure AXS would have a way to look after us.

Unfortunately, they won't ship it, judging by this on the website - " Package purchases are restricted to U.S. & Canadian addresses only. Merchandise will not be shipped outside of the U.S. or Canada under any circumstances. "

Though their website, it says " VIP merchandise will be shipped directly to each package purchaser, some exceptions may apply. "

I'm hoping that peeps down under, through Europe, and South America, would fit into this exception. Perhaps we could pick it up at the event, or get it shipped to our hotels.

1st world problems, if ever I've heard them! :-D

    Haha yes for sure! :-D

I think my best option is to to go for the Gold VIP, then wait on the second gig. Even purchase the same day. See how I feel.

Second choice for the 9th is Seinfeld on stage at Caesars.

However Vegas is a long way to go from Australia, and this line-up may never make our shores.....

  13. Hey guys and gals! Joined recently, and loving this forum. Good advice, news and contributions, thank you all.

I'm flying over from Australia for this! Have never seen GnR live, so I cannot wait. I don't know if they'll ever tour Australia with this line-up, so it's now or never. I've never been to Vegas either, so am fully pumped! Fingers crossed we get an Izzy appearance. Throw Adler in and I'll just about lose my shit (think I'll lose my shit anyway, several times).

Flights and MGM booked, just waiting for a price and section I like on Stubhub. Will go to both gigs.

So are there many people meeting up for a few beers before and after? I'll be flying solo, and I'll be fit to burst with excitement. It would be awesome to hang with others in the same boat as me.
