I tend not to comment much but I do appreciate this thread so much! Been checking regularly for updates as it’s great to get such great quality footage of the band as I’ve watched every other show from the 80s and 90s a million times? This may be a stupid question but are you guys saying that the torrent is on Usenet because it’s less compressed than the three versions on YouTube? I just ripped it from YouTube and I’m sure it probably is compressed but it still sounds and looks decent! Also just want to give a shout out to frans for the amazing channel and good work!

This is fucking hard, for the simple fact of listening to guns for 14 years and u almost grow up with this band being a huge fan and go through phases of whats ur fav song per album and over the years it changes. Patience and dont cry have def been my favs off those albums but like on appetite, 14 years ago scom may have been my fav and then a couple years later maybe rocket queen, then night train. I just went overall over the years cuz in two years I could revert back to scom. lol

Honestly with Dead Flowers and used to love her I Agree! Sometimes ive noticed listening to guns Argentina 1993 that ill be listening to Dead Flowers and think im listening to used to Love her for the first min or so without realizing it, lol its actually quite trippy

Fortus is a monster player, he is.  But I agree with @Tom-Ass.... Every solo that isn't an Izzy or Bucket etc solo that he does just is not needed.

The only that irritates me a bit is Richard.

I think his stage presence / moves are really overbearing and a bit cheesy... The big powerful guitar strikes and holding his guitar high above his head. Spinning in circles.. it looks a bit lame and unGuns n Roses to me. He also seems to showboat quite a bit when Slash is soloing.

I don't think that him and Slash have great chemistry together. 

I think Slash plays better with a more chilled out rhythm player beside him. 

What do yous think?

 

I agree  Izzy and Gilby were both laid back rhythm guitar players. Kushner from Velvet tho was more like fortus. Would prefer gilby or Izzy, GNR was best with only 1 lead, but life is full of compromises, lol
