Pussy full of maggots. Not sure I want to tell my 18 year old daughter about this release. Maybe I’m old.

didn't the full song leak, or just the snippet?
There is a version of the song that's been put together. Some of it is leaked stuff, but most of it is taken from live shows. And then there are things added on that are from different songs.

I thought the small snippet with the "clean" scream demo was cool, and kinda made me revisit it again. I actually just heard the remix for the first time tonight.
This was posted in the TIL remix thread

The final product sounds way better than this snippet.
I'm sure it does! When did you/how did you have a chance to hear the full thing?

They're guitar solos done by Ashba. Ballad of Death and Mi Amor. I think they're really cool BoD is on Appetite for Democracy

Let the speculation begin! Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine says in a new interview that the band has been given the opportunity to tour with a bigger band that they have never toured with before.
"Believe it or not, we've got some cool things going on for the States. We've got two really great things we're gonna be doing. We'll be heading out some part of the spring or summer and then we just were told about an opportunity at the end of the year that really, really excited me."
"It's somebody I've never played with before that we're actually gonna be supporting. They were so cool that we would step down from being a headliner to support this group."
What do ya think?

I hope he eventually puts out a book. Or at least tells us stuff in an open letter!

Axl hasn't been late for a really long time, and fixed all of his broken relationships... I think this is like when he calls Ace and Peter drug addicts even though they've been clean and sober for years. Sometime people will do anything to stay relevant and catch headlines. Guess what I saw them in Boise there was maybe 10,000 people in a 25,000 seat arena. Guns on the other hand had about 50,000. So Axl's doing something right Gene. He was just praising Axl for the ACDC thing. I wonder if there was something behind the scenes that pissed him off! What if Kiss was turned down for an opening spot. Haha I guess i'm just speculating maybe he is just a dick.

omg he just ruined his outfit
Is he wearing a red shirt, shirt on the waist, bones jacket and the Janis Hat???
The bones jacket he wore in the Appetite days if that helps.

i dont get why he can sing nightrain out to get me like the old days but not much else
He doesn't want to risk hurting his voice on a tour, so he picks his moments and songs. But he still kills it on the other stuff!

I think Better is bad ass! And the new intro makes it feel fresh.

I always see GNR as writing songs from
the heart. When they were dirty street kids they wrote dirty songs. When they got a bit more money they wrote songs like their heroes. When Axl was down out in Malibu he wrote about that.
Soooo...i have no idea! No maybe something with renewed vigor and creativity with a litttle more perspective than the UYI era.
It might be a little more mature and self conscious but maybe nailing a sound somewhere between UYI and CD.
I completley agree. I don't want them to try and recreate Appetite, because it wouldn't be real/genuine. That for me is what made Appetite so amazing. I would love to hear all the CD stuff before they make a new record. From there they can start fresh and have a solid record with the new Gnr sound. It's unlikely, but if they dropped the CD remix, CD 2/3, and then new material I could die a happy man.

There Is no way that stadium Is full. Do you have any pictures?
I'm not saying every seat, but just watch the periscopes there is a lot of people. Every concert I've been to is empty until the main act takes the stage.
-
Guys the stadium is full. I don't understand why every show we freak out when there's 45 thousand and not 50. It's obviously not day time right now like in the pic!

You can't be serious? Casual fans don't give a damn about the remix of a record they didn't even like or know about in the first place.
As for me personally, I want new music, I don't care what era it comes from, I just want them to record and release new songs togehter. Whatever they record: Axl CD stuff or Slash unreleased stuff ot something completely new or unfonished songs from the nineties - doesn't matter to me, I just wanna hear it!
That's exactly what I said... Casual fans WOULDN'T care about CD remix or CD 2, which is why I'm worried Axl will abandon it for a new record with Slash released a couple of years from now.
-
Do you guys think Axl would abandon all the CD stuff (Remix included) and just start from scratch? I have a hard time seeing it accepted by casual fans unless Slash decided to do some solos or they put out a hybrid. I would love all of the CD stuff in any form first, and then a new record from scratch to look forward to. What are your thoughts?
