Parking will just be a dude taking 20 bucks from you or something as you enter. Otherwise, you can try to park nearby and hoof it, but be careful where because the jerk tow trucks are like vultures.

That's good advise about the trolley if you are planning on using it. Call ahead to verify the late routes and also get a compass card in advance if you can.

So is Metallica gonna show? Hey a guy can dream right?

Are you saying not all cities are a nightmare parking wise, like LA? What have I done with my life... Thanks for the info!

I'd give it one more night before rushing to judgement on this.

Obviously if he's not there then the reasons could be

    1. They've had some hiccups in the relationship.

    2. Steven isn't doing as well

    3. The 30 year AFD lineup return next year is real.

    4. Just pure negligence on behalf of the band.

Hopefully if he's not there tomorrow then it's #3 and they are saving him for a tour in arenas where they strictly play AFD from start to finish. I have a hard time believing in the AFD reunion but anything can happen after Slash and Axl mended their relationship

There were signs in the stadium saying the show was being filmed and whatnot. If they're using this for some sort of DVD release of 'Not in this lifetime', they might not want any guests on it.

Start time is when the opener comes on. Should be The Cult from 6:30-7:20, then about a 40 minute changeover, and Guns around 8.

Thanks. If you go to this link:

The guy says "Axl has been hitting the stage at around 9:30." It'll take me an hour to get to the stadium and I'm Lyfting, plus meeting my wife who's coming straight from work. Just wanna make sure I won't get there too early, but most importantly, never too late.

That's what I'm trying for - pit on either side, or something in the first few rows in one of the 3 middle floor sections. If I can't I may just wait until show time get closer and see whats out there on Stubhub, etc.

I can still see tickets on the floor sections, but on the sides - guess I lucked out to get one on "D". Good luck!

It seemed like a crapshoot getting tickets during the Nightrain pre-sale. I managed to get one each for both of the shows I wanted, but a lot of people couldn't get any. The ticket pool must have been pretty small compared to some of the other pre-sales. Hopefully there will be a decent amount available during the public sale. May try for Philly tomorrow if I can pull something close on the floor.

I signed up for NT just for this, and all I managed to score was some ticket somewhere in the stands. Today, I said fuck it and used some of the codes here in this thread, and scored a "Floor Seating" ticket (it's for the San Diego concert.) Still annoyed as hell that I signed up for NT and all I got was a crappy ticket in return. Guess I'll try a pit ticket when general sale opens tomorrow, but not counting on it.

Thanks for the explanation! When was that that they were going in? Does that mean that Axl, Slash and Duff arrived at the same time?

You're welcome. No - Slash and Duff spent a long time inside the Gibson tour bus with a ton of other people. Eventually, those two black Escalades arrived bringing Axl and his entourage. At this point, Slash and Duff stepped out of the bus, and we saw on that video what happened: they took that picture, and went into the club.

It seems that it was business as usual: Slash and Duff hang out separately from Axl and the other band members, and get together to perform. At least that's what watching the pre-show movements made me conclude.

Yeah, it's been posted. What I wonder about is where is that photo? Was there no journalist or professional photographer there at all? I mean, it's not even inside the club.

I was there when that was taken - security was being really douchy about it. There was a pointed where they parked a car and turned on the high beams at us trying to make us leave.

In any case, what happened was: Axl arrived in one of the black Escalades. Slash and Duff were in the Gibson bus. They got together quickly, took that picture and went inside for the show.

Now here's what's interesting, and I don't know if someone mentioned this before: there was a point when someone from the GnR staff walked outside with a professional camera rig (it was a camera and some sort of steady cam rig) and filmed us for a few seconds. Talked to us for a few seconds, got some shots of us shouting Guns N Roses, etc, and then he went back inside. So I'm assuming that's their own film crew for whatever purpose - probably a future documentary on the reunion.

  8. Got back from the Troubadour like 20 minutes ago. Didn't have tickets, just came in to take pics, chat with the people, and try to see/hear interesting stuff. Pretty awesome vibe, despite some security and police being unnecessarily aggressive. After the show, got to see Slash hanging out with Norman Reedus (actor who plays Daryl in The Walking Dead.)

Caught some "Mr. Brownstone" walking in front of the Troub too, so I guess that was my first taste of reunited GnR.

All in all a nice night.
