  1. Just over an hour ago McDonalds in the U.K. announced it was closing all its store from 7pm tomorrow evening. I think the UK is going to be locked down by Tuesday.  Beaches & parks have been very busy with a lot of people not heeding the advice of P.M. Boris Johnson of keeping a safe distance from   each other. I think McDonalds announcing the stores closing is a massive hint that lockdown is imminent.

  2. I saw Rush 5 times at Newcastle City Hall.

    2112 Tour

All The Worlds A Stage Tour

    A Farewell To Kings Tour

    Hemispheres Tour

    Permanent  Waves Tour

They were absolute class & Neil was more than a drummer sad news.

  3. Well I missed these first time round but omg what a voice. I didnt realise until a couple of years ago the lead singer Miljenko Matijevic was the guy who sang Mark Whalberg vocal parts in the 2001 movie Rock Star. Anyway here are a couple of videos what do you think the guys vocal range  was amazing.

I was initially hoping for Simon when Phil got into trouble, but ultimately I was happy they went with Slade. I had hopes that Simon would mean one or two obscure mid-80's songs would be revisted, but seeing as they couldn't even pull out Moneytalks with Slade (And let's face it - Axl would've been perfect for that one), I don't see any mid-80's songs coming back even with Simon. Slade is my favorite AC/DC drummer, so I'm hoping he's still on the tour.

I mean Rock Or Bust wasn't really a massive tour either; about 80 gigs in 18 months. Half of the dates on the Black Ice tour in roughly the same amount of time.

As huge an AC/DC fan as I am...I am hesitant about seeing them with Brian again. I haven't been impressed with the few performances he's done since this all happened, and my last gig I saw with Brian was my favorite gig I've seen with him fronting. I'd rather have that be my last memory of him fronting AC/DC than a shadow of his former self. Not to mention it'll be particularly hard to stomach going back to the hour and 45 minute shows they do with Brian after the nearly three hour gigs with Axl.

I'm certain Brian will be fully fit for this I just can't see him doing it if he's not.

  5. I don't believe Izzy's been anywhere near this line up of the band. He made it fairly clear he wouldn't be showing up pretty early in the tour. As he felt he wasn't going to get his fair share of the money. I doubt the money situation was a problem to Steven as it was always his dream for the band to reunite. I also think if Steven hadn't injured himself we may well have seen the full tour with 4/5 of the AFD5.

  6. I'm really surprised this hasn't surfaced yet. They recorded just about every show on the tour. In particular i'd like to see The Troubador footage & the Las Vegas footage I've seen little snippets on YouTube but it would be great to have that on DVD also any backstage footage would be an added bonus..

  7. The NITL Tour wasn't the fully fledged reunion everyone thought it was going to be. My initial feeling when news broke it was only Axl Slash & Duff plus hired guns was one of disappointment. Then like everyone else when Steven appeared I thought it was going to be a matter of time before Izzy turned up even if it was for a couple of songs. As we now know that never happened because Izzy said he wouldn't get a fair share of the money. The tour was very successful making lots of money. Now for the band to progress & do a tour on the scale of the NITL  the only way that could be as successful would be with the AFD5 line up. I just can't see people even the most die hard fans myself included being interested in anything other than a AFD5 reunion.

  8. People really need to realise although Axl did a cracking job singing for AC/DC he was only ever doing it to help them out of a hole. This was & still is Brian's job so it should come as no surprise that he & the rest of the boy's want to finish this as it should be finished with possibly one last album & tour

  9. Eddie Trunk has heard from a reliable source.

Discussing the news, Eddie Trunk explained that sources close to the band have reportedly revealed that Brian Johnson is set to front the band during their next tour.

“I think AC/DC—it’s pretty much a done deal that these guys are gonna make a record, or have made a record, and a record is gonna come out,” Trunk began.

“I have sources that have told me that they are absolutely going to tour with Brian back again. That’s all unconfirmed from their camp, but I had it from some reliable sources.”

“I think it’s pretty much a done deal that AC/DC at the very least are going to release some sort of record and it’ll be some sort of record and it’ll be some sort of tribute to Malcolm [Young] just like Back In Black was a tribute to Bon [Scott],” Trunk continued.

“So I have no doubt about that and I’m pretty confident they’re probably going to do shows as well. But I think at this point it’s pretty much just when they announce it.”

As Eddie Trunk notes, it’s still a little while away from being confirmed, but considering his clout within the music community, it’s worth noting that his “sources” may indeed be rather reputable.

  10. I thought they were great I started off with the Amiga 500 it came with half a mb of memory but you could buy a memory chip insert it in the trapdoor underneath the keyboard for an instant upgrade to 1 mb. I sold that an upgraded to the Amiga 600 eventually settling with the Amiga 1200 before selling that & buying a PlayStation. The Amiga had some brilliant games.

    Rainbow Islands

    Sensible World Of Soccer

    Super Hang On

    PGA Golf

    Superfrog

    Brutal Sports Football

    James Pond

Just a few of my favourites. Most of  the games never seemed to have any encryption so it was quite easy to copy the games  & build up a big collection with a copy of X Copy & some blank floppy disks. Sadly when the PlayStation & Tomb Raider  came along everything changed.

  11. I know he's just having a laugh in this video but he has a great voice. I wonder if he was ever approached by Angus's people to fill in for Brian when Brian had his hearing problems. Apparently he & Brian are good friends I think Brian sang on Jim's album. As I say he's just having a laugh here but I think he could have done a great job.

  12. When Ritchie Blackmore spoke about reforming Rainbow I thought the automatic choice for the vocalists job was Joe Lynn Turner. He'd kept the Rainbow light shining with the band "Over The Rainbow" that featured Ritchie's son Jurgen on lead guitar. But in an interview Blackmore said he'd found a new vocalist & he would be a star. It soon emerged that Blackmore was spot on as Ronnie Romero was unveiled. He proved he could handle all the previous vocalists songs & styles  perfectly from Ian Gillan, Graham Bonnet, Ronnie James Dio or Joe Lynn Turner.

So there he is Ronnie Romero I think he's brilliant what do you think ?
