  1. I agree the solo's, intro's, jams aren't songs

100% correct. I know they are playing long sets but there is quite a difference between a 22 or so song set and seeing 30 something numbers listed. I know Axl needs time to rest but these solos are complete overkill and 2-3 more actual songs could easily be played.

    Agreed.

    I second this, too.

  2. i cant wait for the new resident evil and grand theft auto.

    ...

i love pokemon !!! i dont care what anyone says. ill always love it no matter how old i get.

  3. He does not impress me at all as a guitar player. I think Axl recruited him for his stage presense.

Even YOU must understand that Axl wouldent hire just an average guiatarplayer to Guns N' Roses.Eventough he doesent impress you doesent mean a shit

    Robin Finck

Fortus is a great player. My fav in the band right now.

saying Robin Finck is an avergae guitarplayer tells how little you know of guitarplaying

actually calling him anything more then average shows how little YOU know about guitar playing

I have been playing for over ten years and I can tell you right now after 1 year I could do a better take on this solo than Stinck

    Id PAY to see that

I'd like to sell you some oceanfront property in Nebraska. Interested?

hes only 9 years old dude

  4. It's very common for release dates to be set and widely announced, only to be pushed back a week or two, sometimes a month. Less frequently, the dates can be moved up to an earlier time, i.e. if the album is leaked in full and the company wants to make sure they don't 'lose any sales' to a bunch of people who never intended on buying the record to begin with.

At this point I'm inclined to believe that March 6 means "on or around" March 6, maybe a week or two after, maybe even before. Time will tell. Axl himself hasn't ever stated a specific release date for the album in an official platform before, so I take his announcement to mean that he's certain this time. He waited to speak until he was ready.

Because he has opened his mouth this time, if we have to wait another year or two then he'll lose even more credibility than he has during all 10 years that we've been waiting for this record.

i aint believing shit, until im holding the disc in my hands.

march 6... this is coming from the man who assured us all that 2006 would be the year the CD finally comes out.

  5. Mark Strigl and John Asstronomy are fucking geeks. Their podcasts are fucking awful, but I guess if you like Rons playing, you will like these assclowns.

Give 'em one more chance. Check out that blog and tell me they're not awesome dudes.

This sarcastic thread aside...your new signature is in extremely bad taste.

A new low for even you.

I thought it was patriotic. A guy on another GnR forum made it for me. If people don't like it, I'll get rid of it.

yeah, i guess it is patriotic, but its just... idk

  6. I was just reading this old article

    http://web.gunsnroses.com/news/article.jsp...s&fext=.jsp

and wondered about this: "At a recent tuneup performance in Southern California, GN'R played most of their seminal debut album, Appetite For Destruction, including "Welcome to the Jungle," "Mr. Brownstone," "It's So Easy," "Sweet Child O'Mine," "You Could Be Mine," "Nightrain" and "My Michelle," plus their well-known rendition of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" and power ballads "November Rain," "Don't Cry" and "Patience.""

    Dont cry???

bullshit lies. they never really played completely, it was just bumblefoot playing it in a solo
