I know the vast majority will hate my comments, but I don't give a crap - I've been a loyal fan of this band for the past 30+ years, I won't change because of the majority...

    1. "OMG... they released a new song... which is not technically new, but still.." - ok, cool, good for them, good for you, but to me, it will never be a new song because it is NOT a new song - never released it is very different than a "new" song. It will not turn my day from great to fantastic because of it. Sorry, I have VERY high standards, and a "never released song" is not a new album. Not a big deal, AT ALL, to me.

    2. Spelling school as SKOOL is SO F@ EMBARRASSING. I remember some time ago reading someone's comment on being an "Avril Lavigne" thing, and that person read my mind... lol It seems like a "School of Rock": movie thing (btw, I love that movie...) But no, not for a Guns n Roses title. The whole "fn" and "fam" and now "skool" now is just... I even don't have words... Fn was very cool back in the 90s... but its excess now is ridiculous, sorry. The "fam" is even more, and "skool" is beyond and above more.

    3. Get angry at me... (I don't give a f@) - I DIDNT LIKE THE SONG. Well, actually, I did like something: Slash's and Duff's parts. Chorus is great (Axl's voice... I LOVE that voice). I ended up never listening to this song before, but bc everyone was always so freaking crazy asking for it, I thought it was THE song. Shadow of your Love, over the new releases (not new, just never officially released), was 1 billion times better. The WHOLE song is great. Hard School (I refuse to type the other way, I'm not 12 years old) has excellent pieces, but as a whole is not a great song, in my opinion.

Happy for you guys that are so happy about it. Happy for them (GnR) as they can make even more money from it...

Will my opinion change the world? LOL, NO... Will this make me adore them less? NO... I just think there was too much anticipation for something that is not "THAT" good. Moving on.

    Cool ranch dressing

The more I think about it, the more I think it would be great to open with it.
    1) Even the casuals will have known it by Sunday, so they won’t be like "wtf is this".
    2) It has a cool bass beginning, like ISE.
    3) It would bring the exact excitement from a change that the shows have been missing.
    4) Axl would have more power than at the end of the set.
    5) Therefore, please, start the show with it. At least a few times, and then maybe alternate it.

    It’s so easy

    hard Skool

    jungle

get axl warm w ISE then hard Skool into jungle sounds awesome and the crowd is roaring from opened to end of jungle. Axl might need to phone in a jungle tho after giving it his all on HS. Maybe push out jungle more because of this but if possible this would be some great energy to open a set right?

Fair enough. I mean, it's the internet so of course there's going to be people putting lists like this together. The album still got many great reviews when it was released though and a lot of people enjoy it. So there's plenty of people on both sides of the fence.

Years ago Estranged was on a VH1 (or MTV? Pretty sure VH1) worst songs of all time list... so yeah....

Laying in my hotel room still exhausted from last night, but now I have some time to write my review! First off, I just want to say that forum member @WHENEVER is a HERO. Without him, I would not have known that I could upgrade my tickets to the pit. Because he said that, that's exactly what I did!! FIRST TIME EVER IN THE PIT FOR ANY CONCERT AND IT WAS FOR GUNS N' FUCKIN' ROSES!! I ended up getting rail!!

And guess what happened! AXL SMILED AND WAVED AT ME TWICE!! Once during Estranged and once during Nightrain! Oh my gosh I seriously cried both times. I was just waving all happily and smiling and I guess he saw me so he looked over right at me and smiled and waved right back at me! I seriously almost collapsed haha I was sooooo happy!! I know I'll never forget that. He was in such a fantastic mood all night!! Honestly he was smiling as much as we were. He interacted with us a lot, he really did. Before Chinese Democracry, he randomly said, "In the mood for some take out?" During KOHD during the sing-along, after we did the final sing-along, he said something like, "Now that's what I'm talking about San Antonio." Towards the end in the encore he said something like, "Hey I hope y'all don't mind, but since it's the last date of this tour, the band wants to play. Call your parents and tell them you're with your friend Axl" or something like that. Then at the end with the bow, he basically said that he and the band are just so happy they're there, that they get to play for us in this tour. They're thankful and happy they get to do it.

Everyone sounded so great. Seeing Slash up close...I mean I was honestly in awe. He's like a mythical beast that you don't actually believe is real...until you see him up close! He KILLED it, as always. As far as Duff, he is bar none the COOLEST member of the band. Man, you just look at him play and you're like, "This guy is cool as hell." I could tell he really enjoyed being up there. And Axl sounded great too. I didn't have a single doubt that any member of their band didn't give it their all last night. Everyone was at the top of their game, everyone had such a great time. The band, the crowd, we were all one last night.

Okay I feel like this is super long!! I just had to type it all out! Best concert of my LIFE! Thank you Guns N' Roses!!! (Especially Axl, for making me feel so happy and special)

I was section 14 row 2 right above the side of the floor. Was a great view! I saw axl smile and do a little wave while singing !! Looks like he was doing in the direction of his left side I think?? Had to have been towards you! That's awesome I bet that was a hell of a time down there.

I lost my shit during Coma sounds soooooooooooooo Better live then watching YouTube videos

Seeker was awesome live to it's no wonder they play it. I hadn't checked out the forum in awhile was cool for me to hear that new cover and then BHS. Crowd seemed to like BHS.

coma is probably my highlight other then the opening had goosebumps all through end of brownstone id say which was great

I tried to let you know when ZZ ended but the WiFi stopped working for me. And Guns started early around 8:23 so hope you didn't miss any songs!

Oh thanks so much!! I made it just in time !! Found my seats and sat down at like 8:20! Rly glad I pulled the trigger on these and didn't wait for the Houston show in November. Worth every penny.
