The GN'R Semi-Reunion tour finally happening and now Axl to fill in for Brian in AC/DC in the same year? Wow...just wow. Aside from this being a banner year for Axl, I think Brian deserves more respect from Angus after giving the band 36 yrs.

Def stay in SD if you can, otherwise like others said head down early.
Also the most I've ever spent on a concert. Had a chance at some good floor tix on the presale and bit the bullet. I've also wanted to see this one ever since missing it in the 90's, so I'm just excited. I'd be excited to be sitting anywhere though, just to be there with everyone.
Yeah, made plans to stay in SD.
I had selected great seats in Sec C Row 4 during the presale, had more than enough time to click 'continue' and when I did I received a message that said something went wrong and redirected me back to the main page....those tickets long gone. I was so pissed.
I've seen GN'R seven times ('87, '88, '91, '92, '01, '06 and '14) and always worth every penny, even with the various lineup changes. Strangest was when Buckethead was in the band. Phenomenal guitarist, but his character just didn't fit the bill (IMO).

I'll be attending this one now too (the other one being Phoenix/Glendale). Hopefully, Axl's voice isn't too wrecked towards the end of the tour. The good news is he has three days off between Seattle and Glendale. Then an entire week off between AZ and San Diego.

That is sick, fuck I wish I was going to one of these shows.
New York New York is a great casino and the room rocked, but I hated the sound of the roller coaster each time it passed. Rooms aren't very soundproof.

Hate to be negative but I must admit that Axl being stuck in the chair did take a lot away for me.
Fair play to him for pushing through but I was left disappointed overall with the performance. Maybe it just threw me at the start and I didn't recover.
Felt it took away about 30% from the show - that's a testament to what Axl brings as a performer as a whole. Think he brings so much energy that its loss was really felt with him out of action.
Having said that was great to hang with some fans, some from this forum.
Will be going to tonight's show with a revised outlook & hoping I'll enjoy it more.
Many attending had no idea Axl was in a foot cast until they actually saw him onstage. I could see that being a bit of a negative experience since you're not getting 100% Axl rose running his ass around the stage. Murphy's Law kicks in at the worse times.

hearing My Michelle and Pretty Tied Up would indeed be awesome
I was surprised "My Michelle" wasn't in the set last night. If they're keeping it fresh and have several setlists then that'll work. But "My Michelle" was so much bigger than say "Coma" or "Chinese Democracy". Not complaining whatsoever, just found a few song selections odd.

I'll be attending this one (Section C Row 6). Cannot wait!!

so is it the same Set list tonight? I hope not, I am hoping they are going to mix it up every night but I am guessing it is going to be the same
They may add/remove a few tunes. I can see them adding "My Michelle" and perhaps "Yesterdays" and "Pretty Tied Up".

The thing Axl did last night was close his eyes and listen to Slash's solo's...every time he looked his way it was in admiration of the performance. He looked really content watching Slash at times.
Axl started the show with a black shirt smiley face with X's for eyes. So maybe that was him showing appreciation for the chair. Axl seemed a little embaressed to be stuck in a chair at times...but like I said earlier it made Coma creepy
Aside from having Slash back in the fold, I think maybe Axl doesn't feel the entire show lies on his shoulders now (?) I don't know, just a quick assumption since he seemed less stressed, more relaxed and truly enjoying himself.

I spent the last eight hours watching a good majority of online videos from last night's show. What a fantastic show! And I believe Axl was able to really let loose on the deeper cuts due to him being bound to the throne and not running around trying to catch a breath. Should be interesting in June when the Summer stadium tour hits the US in late June. I'll be attending the second to last gig (Aug 15th) and looking forward to following all the shows leading up to it. I saw GN'R in Vegas 2001, 2006 and 2014. Prior to those shows, I last saw GN'R with Metallica Aug 1992.
And a big hand to Richard, Frank, Dizzy, and Melissa for kicking ass alongside Axl, Slash, and Duff. They're all well established musicians in their own right. Aside from Izzy not wanting to participate in the tour and Steven undergoing back surgery, it'll be interesting if those pop up on any shows. Would be a nice surprise, but I'm not holding my breath. I can see Steven guesting a few shows, but Izzy seems adamant about keeping his distance.
I'm expecting tonight's second show in Vegas to be just as spectacular as last night.
