FYI - anyone that was thinking about going and doesn’t have tickets, prices just dropped on ticketmaster. They have 11th row on slash’s side for $105

Thanks for the heads up, I caved this morning at 11am and bought a $65 ticket. Currently on hold with Ticketmaster to try to upgrade to section 9, let’s see what happens.

I selected to take survey at the end of the call thinking it might entice them to process my request. Coincidentally or not, as soon as I selected that option I was given a wait time and a generic thank you message for my business.

Cool thanks. I booked a room at the Ramada 3 miles away by the airport. I'll probably Park with them then rock an Uber over to the GA line. :)

Sounds like a good plan. I started driving for uber a month ago on the weekends for some side cash. Don’t expect me to be your driver though, I plan on pregaming as soon as I check into my room around 1pm haha.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. Do you legit think they'll be on at 7:45? It makes sense, but I'm not used to seeing that as a starting time for Guns. Haha. I expected after 9p at least.

No sarcasm at all haha. 7:45 was based off the Philly show the other night. Maybe that won’t be exact, but they are playing 3 plus hour set with no opening band and have been prompt with getting on stage since the tour started last year.

Going to be awesome!  Ill be in the PIT.  6th Time since the reunion, but only my second from the PIT.  Really looking forward to it.  Anybody know the parking situation at this arena?  We are coming down from CT.

There’s paid parking lots on the blocks around the arena. If I remember correctly they charge around $35. There’s also a parking garage next door that I’m sure is even more expensive and fills up fast.

If you’re willing to walk a several blocks the pricing drops considerably, but then you have to consider if you want to be walking back those blocks after 11pm.

I booked a room at the Marriott next door like I did the last time I went to a concert there and parking isn’t even included with the hotel fare. Guests get a “discounted” rate for $25/night at the parking garage.

  5. I still haven’t purchased tickets, but I do have my hotel reservation at the Marriott next door. They dropped ticket prices a little last week and I’m hoping they drop more before Thursday since there’s still a good amount of seats left. I might even ride the wave all the way up to show time and look for a last second deal.

  6. So I’m making a pregame playlist for the show I’m going to this week and noticed something frustrating on Spotify. Bad Obsession and The Garden are missing from the track listing of the album. I also looked into a couple of older playlists that I made with those songs and they are no longer there. I’ve seen albums/artists completely disappear, but it’s weird for just 2 songs like that. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this or it’s just me....

  7. Pantera - January 1998, ears were ringing for days. I saw them another 5 times before and after that, but that show sticks out.

Sleep is another one that comes to mind. They're a different type of loud though, you hear them with more than just your ears.

Napalm Death shows are always deafening as well.

How many people did attend the second Metlife show, any guesses?

    Was the stadium half empty?

I was there, it was pretty close to a sell out. I did not expect that many people.

Unfortunately the crowd had a lot of lame bros and other casual "fans". I felt compelled to yell at people for sitting down. I spent most of the show dancing in the aisles and pissing security off, I had a great time.

Fyi I emailed MetLife this morning to ask if they may possibly close sections and what the procedure would be. Their response was "we have no plans to relocate any guests tomorrow".  Take it for what it's worth. There are still a ton of tickets available, but it's obviously a massive market and they are running deals that may move enough tickets to keep every section open.

I could see them not closing off the upper deck. Looking at the ticketmaster map (however accurate that is) it appears there might not be enough room to easily relocate everyone. It's not like there are any sections completely empty. My section (126) is one of the few that's completely sold though.
