Don't think anybody can be sure as these will be the first ever major concert events held there.
Wow, surprised these are the first! Would have thought there’s been others since it opened but I guess Covid slowed the event opportunities.I know the place is designed for football but as a multi-event facility hopefully they included some provisions for sound. They had to know major concerts would be hosted there.

Just watched and listened to as many YT vids I could find and this was a fabulous show. Much better than some previous shows on this tour and I thought Axl’s voice was in very good shape. The above review is decent but I believe this one deserves an 8/10. Seems they’re hitting the groove better as the tour rolls on. They should be in tip top shape for the shows at Tottenham. Wonder how the acoustics sound in that place? Anyone know?

Axl doesn’t sound good but everyone is being too hard on him. He’s still one of the greatest front men in R&R and he’s not singing off key. Don’t hear his voice clipping either but I haven’t heard many recent performances. Nobody could keep that raspy vocal style up for as long as he has. He can probably still do it but would likely blow his vocal chords for days after. He does need to find a tone/timbre that works for the songs much like Robert Plant did as he lost his original voice. Rod Stewart also comes to mind. Maybe even change the set list to match his vocal capabilities and not worry about every past hit.
He’s got the vocal chops to do it but I think he’s probably a work in progress right now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds a groove that fits. What he’s doing now does not and it’s definitely turning fans off but it’s not just him. The few YouTube clips I saw today the band is not very dynamic. I don’t know what’s up but they are just “off”.
Cheers all…

The sound mix leaves a lot to be desired on any of the video's I've seen. The AXL/DC stuff sounded MUCH better with Axl's voice being more tweaked in the mix. What we've heard from these 2 shows is mashed up mic levels. Sounds way off and not even close to Axl's voice presence with the DC stuff.

Its still hard to believe what the HELL is going on here. I might be hearing it with my own ears and seeing it with my own eyes but never, for a moment, thought that this pairing would work.
Being in an AC/DC cover band for the last 20 years I know the music. Its good stuff to play but finding a singer that can pull off Brian and Bon in a cover band is virtually impossible. Easy to play, hard as hell to sing. VERY FREAKIN HARD! I initially thought Axl was an eminent disaster waiting to happen, but jeezus hell was I wrong!!
Axl isnt just pulling it off, he is nailing the ever lovin shit outta these songs. UNBELIEVABLE PERFORMANCE'S! He is stamping his authority on being one of the greatest front men in rock music. AC/DC sounds better than they have in years and its in no small part due to Axl Rose. They appear invigorated and fresh. Sorry Brian, as much as I love/loved you, Axl is killing your shit more than you have in the last 15 years. Axl is better on Brian's stuff than Brian has been recently.
I love GNR and cant wait to see Slash wielding that axe with Axl complimenting him on the vocals but AXL/DC has become an immediate legend. I can't wait for the GNR tour as I think Axl has really settled into an unbelievable groove. His voice is amazing right now and Paradise City AWAITS!

Scream, yell, rasp or whatever you want to call it Axl sounds fucking incredible on this take. He's more like Brian was, than Brian has been in a long time. Hell, he's better than Brian Johnson's original recordings on these versions. You guys gotta get a grip here. Axl Rose is kickin major ass and there is no reason to believe he wont be kickin the same major ass on the upcoming GNR tour. His standing in the rock world has skyrocketed with his temp assignment performances with AC/DC. The guy is blowing everyone away and cementing his standing as one of rocks greatest front men.

Glad that ACDC fans are getting a glimpse of what made us fans of Axl in the first place!
Funny because I dont consider myself a huge AC/DC fan but as a young guitarist if you want to play something that sounds great and is relatively easy, you play AC/DC. Angus is the master of turning 12 bar power chord blues into rock classics. Its not complicated music. Most of AC/DC is basic power chords. I would consider GNR to be MUCH harder to play for a beginner or intermediate player. AC/DC fan, GNR fan or whatever, you can't deny that Axl Rose is blowing the doors off this music in a way I never thought possible. He's cementing himself as one of the all time great front men.
It will be interesting to see how his stage presence compliments the show when he is out of that boot. I would guess it will ramp up to even higher praise for Axl Rose. He's is injecting new life into AC/DC...no doubt.

For although I rather like it, 'Rock N' Roll Thunder' is the very definition of old fart jean wearing rock; it sounds like a Status Quo song.
Agreed, I like it....sorta, but they need to lose that one from the current setlist. It's fine to listen to but live...blah.
I know they have to play from Rock Or Bust but replace it with something like, Baptism By Fire, Dogs of War, Rock The House or Emission Control. Axl's voice would really pop these songs.
Hopefully they wont do Dog Eat Dog as someone suggested. There are much better choices (Girls Got Rhythm, Touch Too Much, Let Me Put My Love Into You, Money Talks ). They can also lose High Voltage and Given the Dog a Bone from the current set list. Many more choices that would sound better with Axl.

Sorry to barge in on the GNR parade but I've enjoyed reading all these comments about AXL/DC and can't help but throw in my worthless 2 cents.
I've been in an AC/DC cover band (on & off) for the last 20 years. As a musician I love almost all music including GNR. Axl on the other hand, never understood the guy. Always seemed like an enormous waste of talent. Love Slash...killer chops on that axe.
When I first heard Axl Rose announced as guest singer for AC/DC I thought, "unmitigated disaster". Just didnt see how it would work. However, I can not express how shocked I am with Axl's performances. He's knocking it out of the park on all these songs. The Bon Scott era songs are better than Brian ever did. He's even blowing Brian's stuff away based on Brian's recent vocal performances. Just listen to Brian from this tour on Hell's Bells then listen to Axl. I knew Brian's voice had lost some but comparing Axl's live versions to Brian's, he's kickin ass. Hell, Axl sounds more like Brian "did" than Brian does now.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think Axl Rose was going to work with AC/DC but it sure as hell is...and some.
