I knew two of the priests on that list. One was the pastor at the Italian church in my town. Seemed like a nice guy the few times I met him. The other was the pastor at the parish where I went to school for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. He just plead guilty to forcing a kid to perform oral sex on him in his office (happened a couple years before I went there, but I know who the kid is). Thinking about all the times he sat and had lunch with us, talked to us on the playground, heard our confessions when I still believed in that stuff, hell just shook our hands and asked how we were doing...just makes my skin crawl.

I might watch a little women's beach volleyball, though.
It's on CNBC right now. I'm a fan. Don't know or care who the hell is playing, but definitely a fan.

I checked my voucher list yesterday morning and had tons of the $2.25 discounts and the ones for free GA tickets. Then last night I looked again and all I had were some of the $2.25 ones. Kinda sucks too, since they finally put out the show list and there are some that I'm interested in.
False alarm. They just took them off people's accounts while they finalize the list of eligible shows.

Figured there are some members who enjoy playing/watching golf.
Right now I'm having fun watching the pros make fools of themselves at Oakmont, the site of this year's U.S. open. It's projected that the winner will be around +5 after the four rounds have been played.
I live six minutes away from Oakmont, and my brother works next door to it. It took me an hour to get him there this morning. I'll be glad when this tournament is over.
That being said, this should be an ugly Open. Especially if we get the nasty storms they're expecting this afternoon and they have to play on Monday when it's 90 degrees. It'll be like putting on a sidewalk.

If they go with hometown heroes, then Pittsburgh is going to get Donnie Iris. Ha.
Better than the Clarks. And knowing this town they'd probably sell the rest of the tickets

Is the stadium in walking distance to Station Square?
No, but you might be able to take the Gateway Clipper from Station Square to the stadium. They have it for Steelers and Pitt games, but I'm not sure if they'd do it during the week.

Great. I will look into it
Gonna be a nice trip, looking forward to see what Pittsburgh's about, even if it will just be a small sample.
My only previus knowlegde of Pittsburgh is the Pens, as I have been following NHL most of my life.
Hopefully your bars have some nice local beers as wellIf you ask for a local beer and someone suggests Iron City or IC Light, punch that person.

The only good thing about this movie is that Hi-C is bringing back Ecto Cooler.

Finally watched Nakamura vs Zayn. Holy shit I think I love Nakamura. I'm gonna have to watch some more of his matches.
Somehow it "only" got 4 1/2 stars from Meltzer. That was the best match I've seen in years.

Got my tickets this morning. North Club section, first row. Aisle seats!
Also got a parking pass for Gold 1. Hopefully the tailgate is a little drier than the Stones show last year.

A rabbi and a priest are walking through the park when they spot a group of young boys playing football.
"Hey, why don't we go over and fuck those boys," says the priest, nudging the rabbi in the ribs.
"Out of what?!" replied the rabbi.
As I was just going through this thread I though about posting this one. I once told it to my high school religion teacher. He laughed.

Your Concerts in 2023
in MY WORLD
Posted
I saw U2 at the Sphere last week. They sounded fantastic, and that venue is so mind-blowingly incredible it may have ruined concerts for me forever.
