Planning on making this trip to see GNFNR would like some information about parking it looks very complicated on the maps I've looked at. We are staying Pittsburgh North / McNight any help would be appreciated :headbang:

Best advice I can give you is go early. As someone who used to live in the area, I can tell you the traffic, and the street layout can be frustrating as fuck. Once you get parked though, Pittsburgh is a fun city.

No way do they cancel. The band is guaranteed their check regardless of sales, merchandise has no doubt already been produced and I just don't see any possible way of this happening. I for one am happy with the slow sales. Just grabbed a Slash side pit ticket for below face! Flying out for the day from Denver! Saw second night of Vegas and can't get enough! Rolling solo. See you freaks there, rain or shine! I'll be the big dude riding the rail in Pit 1 rocking some kind of Colorado gear and possibly pissing a few people off due to my height. I can't help it as I was born this way. I will also be getting down as hard or harder than anyone in there. Please feel free to join me!

    Cheers! Drewdown

Looking forward to it!! I admit I know nothing about the inner workings of a giant production like this, but I imagine some shows over perform, while other under perform. I'm sure it all evens out, and would take a catastrophic event to actually cancel one of these giant shows. I bet they drop some ticket prices and come close to filling the joint anyway.

would love some news on an opener though... ?

of course id spend the week stalking all the downtown hotels & get no work done LOL (fangirling) :wow:

Yeah I had been hoping for Cleveland all along. Would have been fun to go see gnr, and then catch a tribe game the next day! ??

I sure hope so, Pittsburgh has always been pretty good to the band but this has to be the worst selling stop of the tour up to this point. I noticed that from working In the city near the stadiums that the big country artists have no problem moving tickets. I guess we will have to wait and see. Regardless, congratulations on your tickets and have a good time.

Thats what really losses me off. They jump all over those shitty country acts that role through town, but not this? I already dislike dealing with Pittsburgh quite a bit, if this show gets cancelled because of poor ticket sales, I will never forgive that city. Really wish they would have done Cleveland instead.

with just 2 weeks to go till show them not releasing opener is starting to piss me off

Yeah, I'm a bit annoyed at that as well. I might be in the minority, but I thought it would be cool if they brought in the Clarks. They are local favorites, have been around as long as guns, and are just a lot of fun.

  6. Oh yeah, I would enjoy it even if the place were empty! ?? I have been a fan since I first heard them on the radio when I was a little kid. Got to see them in 2006 and it was awesome, and again min 2011, and 2014 and had a good time. But I have been waiting to see Axl, slash, and duff together my whole life. The fact that they are killing it like they are is just amazing. I don't think I can remember a reunion tour that didn't dissapoint, yet these guys are out there defying all logic. It's awesome! Guns n Roses might literally save rock once again!

  7. Yeah I read about that whole thing. What a mess. Luckily for us, our tickets are on the rail in the lowest part of the seating bowl in section 110. I really hope ticket sales pick up. Heinz field "only" seats 68,400 for football, and they routinely sell out for the country shows there. Would be a shame if it didn't sell out when an actual good show comes around. They should have booked Cleveland instead. ?

  8. Long time lurker here, but this is my first post.

I have tickets to the Pittsburgh show on July 12th, but I can't help but notice that tickets seem to be moving a bit slowly, and they haven't announced an opener yet. I know the show is two weeks away still, but should I be concerned? Me and my group would be devastated if they cancelled for slow sales...
