When do the rest of the tix go on sale haha? So far just the gouged platinums for a G or more  Frig!

Re: Vegas shows... seems like a large  segment of tickets (around middle sections behind VIP and Platinum) were never available on Ticketmaster.   I tried diligently with all presales and thereafter and saw VERY limited tix, if any. Anyone else experience same and can share  any insights?

Attended that show, flying in from Calgary. Knew what to expect as was at The Joint show at the HRH one year earlier. Was crazy how they made us stand in line for eight hours or more. We lined up before fans of the Goo Goo Dolls that started at 8PM, and Guns didn't go on until 4:30 AM . Security was adamant if Axl saw a camera, "he will leave!" I was actually surprised he showed up given the delay but he put on one of the best GNR shows I have seen (21 so far).

It was being recorded by some Asian company (Japanese if I remember correctly). Security was crazy prior to gates opening. "If Axl sees a camera, he will leave!" I must have heard it 250 times while we waited in line for 6 hours or more!

I was there! 4:30 AM start time. Crowd was crazy restless thinking he might be a no-show. Then he came on and blew our minds. Nobody saw him in many years!

Anyone know what capacity is for the venue overall and for the pit? How many tix are sold?

Going to Florence for my 21st show. Best thus far was Vegas New Years Day January 2001 (Jan 1 as started at 4:30AM, 5:30 AM home time (Calgary)). House of Blues in Mandalay Bay.

Awesome due to the anticipation and venue - I think the first show from Axl in 6 years. Nobody had seen him in forever and nobody had any idea what to expect. Finck and Bucket were outrageous and Axl killed it. Best sound of any show ever.

Agree. Met Frank twice and was very cool. Happy to chat, take pics, and sign autographs. I'm a drummer and have no issues with his drumming.

I was there. My first GnR show in my home town. 20 shows since and on way to Firenze in June for the next one!

I hope italian girl and asessa are right. Not travelling from Canada to barely be able  to see. Fingers crossed.

Anybody know anything about the VIP Rocks  package where there is supposedly access to a special pit area? Sold out anyway. 

You, me, and 20,000+ other people in the pit. I hear the pit is massive! I attended London last year as well as Edmonton and both pits were tiny by comparison.

Visiting Italy from Calgary in June and plan to see Guns at Firenze Rocks (our 21st show). Sold out. Any recommendations on best way to get Pit tickets?  Want to ensure they are hardcopy. Thx.

It just didn't work. It was like enjoying a 10 course gourmet meal and then the waiter comes out with chicken fingers. Odd analogy, I know. I like chicken fingers as much as the next guy, but WTF? 

I am all for artistic freedom, but isn't it time to do so with new music?

I was there. Major fail IMO. I have tremendous respect for Axl, seeing him 20 times and travelling all over the world to do so, seeing some crazy sit along the way. I'll chalk this one to a temporary lapse in judgement. You could just feel band members thinking they were jumping sharks on this one.

I was there and witnessed it all. Flew in, checked into the hotel, and headed for the venue. When the doors weren't open, we knew something was up. Axl was in mid flight from LA when the venue manager and promoter made the call to cancel. Based on what I know and heard since, it was a bad call on their part and not Axl''s fault. The stage was fully set and the rest of the band was inside the venue when the sign went up on the windows it was cancelled.

Went the next night in Tacoma (terrible venue).

Lots of buses around the Westin, no sign of any activity though. Cold morning, the sun will have to work hard before it heats up in Edmonton today.

For Canada, The Glorious Sons would be an awesome choice - great live band. Way better than Our Lady Peace.

Anybody know how many people golden circle holds? Bought tix yesterday and making the trip from Calgary Canada.

Bubbles is from The Trailer Park Boys, a Canadian TV show. Baz is friends with him and introduced him to Axl a few tours ago.
