I never mentioned slash vs fortus.there is no comparison.its about who is legit to be in the 2nd guitar spot.certainly fortus is in 2016.fortus by no means rubs me as a alterna mordern day guitar player.his sound and tone playing the classic guns stuff is right there as much as gilby.there are a several guitarists on chinese dem and impossibe to tell who is who.would paul huge be a better fit just because he was in the circle as early as 1994 ?a new album of material would tell us what fortus is made of

Gilby was in guns but to me was never a gunner.only recorded covers with em.was there for maybe 3yrs tops.Fortus is just as rock n roll as Gilby any day of the week.if not more so.to me the 2nd guitar slot is a closed deal.The drummer debate is valid for sure without a doubt.sorum is not as clean as a whistle.could be why he is not there.i dont think steve is strong enough to do this for 2.5 hrs.who knows.frank is doing the job in the meantime

the show was amazing , I was on the rail in ga 1  in the pocket between the catwalk and the rest of the stage. Band and Axl both sounded awesome. Very high energy , slash jumped off the amps during nightrain . The AFD songs had so much power and high energy. It was crazy to see how much energy these guys had for there age, They gave it 100 percent . I have a bunch of great pics and vids but don't know how to post

Axl sounded great too , he's really gotten his shit together !
