The whole “I haven’t heard it but I remember working on it” comment sounds kinda passive-aggressive. Probably best that you didn’t ask him any more questions after that.
He didn’t seem upset talking about it at all. He seemed into the convo. I think my wording is coming off different than what it was like IRL.
when he said that he said it with a smile like it was a good memory.

Last night I saw Tommy Stinson at a super small venue. There was only about 30 of us there. After the show he took the time to talk and take pictures with everyone.
I didn’t have a lot of time to talk to him but I did get a couple questions in
I was wearing the new gnr tour jacket and when I first approached him he said that’s a cool jacket
I asked him if there was any truth to the rumour about a possible gnr album being released in 2011 or so. He gave me a somewhat confused looked and said no idea about that.
He said there was a bunch of extra songs recorded from CD but no plans to release anything
He said he wanted to take back some of those songs. I said “like going down? That’s a pretty cool song”. He said “Yeah! That’s one of them”
Then we left and went outside. I was having a smoke outside of the venue and I see Tommy walk out.
I approach him again. I asked him if he’s heard the new gnr single Perhaps.
“No I haven’t heard it yet but I do remembering Working on it” (with a smile)
I said to him “man I’m so obsessed with Chinese democracy. I could ask you questions all night about the album”
He says “it’s a really great album isn’t it?”
I said “I fucking love it”
He says “it’s pretty incredible what Axl had to go through to get that out”
That was pretty much it. I wish I asked him another question about the last time he remembers Axl in the studio recording vocals. I feel like I failed you guys by not asking that question but everything happened so quick.

I’m going to see Tommy Stinson at a super small venue tonight. If I get the chance to ask him any gnr related questions is there anything I should be asking??

There would be a lot less crying in this thread if people just bought a record player

You would have to be dumb and naive if you actually thought ozzy was going to play. I saw this coming the day it was announced

What's wrong with PJ these days?
The setlist wasn't very good. I didn't like how they started with a bunch of mellow songs. It felt like it killed the energy in the arena.
Eddie voice isn't what it used to be. I don't want to say he sounds bad. It just doesn't have the same energy as before. Its not as angry
The band just looks old now. It pains me
Stone was wearing mask and just standing off to the side most of the time. it was weird
This was the 11th time seeing them. The first time was in 2005. I remember thinking back then oh man i wish I got to see them in the 90s when they were on top of their game. I went back and listened to the the 2005 bootlegs i have and they were still fucking good then.

After being denied concerts for 34 months I went a little crazy this year
Roger Waters Toronto - front row. What an amazing experience
Rage Against The Machine - Hamilton
Rage Against The Machine - Toronto. The Hamilton show was good I had to go again
Red Hot Chili Peppers / The Strokes - Nashville. This one came up randomly I happened to be in Nashville for a bachelor party that weekend
Red Hot Chili Peppers / The Strokes - Toronto I was in the pit real close to the rail what an amazing concert
Spoon / Interpol / Metric - Toronto. I was in the pit at budwiser stage. I ate a bunch of mushrooms and I was high was fuck. It was wild
War On Drugs - Toronto. This concert was way better than I imagined it was going to be. They are a great live band
Pearl Jam - Toronto. I thought this concert sucked. PJ is my all time favourite band and it makes me sad what they are now
I’m going to see arcade fire this Friday

I’m pretty exited for this tour. I haven’t seen them since 2004. I got GA’s for Montreal. I thought the ticket prices were pretty reasonable compared to what I paid for other tickets this year. It was $402 Canadian.

The albums are loaded with amazing songs. The only songs I feel like are filler are my world you ain’t the first and KOHD.

I think that is a contract thing maybe?
Must be. It’s just an odd thing to do altering history.

Why are the writing credits incorrect? Why are slash and duff given writing credits on every song?

I really miss that little guitar lick.
