As much as i wanna see Adler and Izzy back in the band, i would stil love new music from this line up.

Slash, Duff and Axl will be working on completely new material. Axl may have lyrics from CD2 he uses but the music will be given a completely fresh release. They will never release a proper version of Silkworms as that was Pitman's baby and there's no way Axl will pay him a dime.

The film looks awesome. I cant wait to see it. I love the way the trailers like showing Batman "getting the band back together". Kinda like Duff
Jason Momoa came out in a Guns N' Roses tshirt at the panel, the film comes out in 2017 when Appetite will be having its 30th birthday and Justice League its 50th.
And also theirs 6 males and one female in each of them, and im starting to read into this too much ha ha ha ha.....

Seriously I can not still imagine why you people are excited about this guy... HE did only AFD and those first demos and roughly was in the band for about 3 years.
5 years. and AFD is Guns N' Roses most important album.

Maybe his back isn't fully healed yet, maybe thats why hes only playing a couple of songs at a time. Or hes coming back with the band full time next year.

Guns N’ Roses production manager says reunion shows are booked “far” into 2017 - and there’s no negativity in members having separate dressing rooms
There’s no end in sight for the Guns N’ Roses reunion, with dates booked “far” into next year, says production manager Dale ‘Opie’ Skjerseth.
And he’s dismissed the suggestion that the band members using separate dressing rooms suggests there’s any kind of tension backstage.
Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan staged their first show together in two decades when they performed in Los Angeles in April. Since then they’ve been touring North America, with further dates added in South America.
Skjerseth tells 11Alive.com: “I’ve been told there’s no end date. I’ve seen plenty of dates going far into next year.
“Everybody’s working together to keep a common goal – keep the machine going.”
Asked about backstage accommodation, he says: “Everybody’s older. They carry their families with them. They all have to have their spaces.”
He adds: “Everybody meets before we go on stage. It’s a meeting point – and that’s where the chemistry happens.”
Skjerseth says that Rose’s infamous poor timekeeping is all in the past, explaining: “He’s here before the guys some days. It’s his maturity, and how it should be.”
Meanwhile, former Guns N’ Roses bassist Tommy Stinson says he enjoyed seeing the current lineup so much that he went back for a second look.
The Replacements man, who played with Rose’s band from 1998 until 2014, recently told Salon: “We had a fantastic time. It was great to see it on the other side and not having to be in it. They’re my friends and I’m glad for them.”
He continues: “People should love it. If you’re a fan you’re going to love it.”
Rose, who's also fronting AC/DC in the coming weeks, recently revealed that he'd discussed recording new material with Slash and co.

At the end of the day Richard and Frank have been playing Slash and Duffs songs for a decade now, why cant Slash and Duff return the favor by playing theirs off CD? Plus if Slash had been forced to play them, he would get Fortus to do the solos, Duffs wouldn't sing backing vocals on Better and Slash wouldn't be running around throwing his energy into the songs if he didn't care.

I think there more likely to re-record some of the album for a new Greatest Hits collection with a few tracks from each era, alongside a reissued version of AFD. Some of the songs may also be used on a film soudtrack which i could see been either Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 (there's rumors Axl met with director James Gunn) or Justice League (Aquaman/Jason Momoa went to see them in New Jersey on the 24th and was wearing a Guns N' Roses tshirt at Comic Con)
Duff visits Stapleford Miniature Railway after headlining Download

He also chatted to firefighters at the county attraction.
With huge rock festival Download taking place in Castle Donington this weekend, it's no surprise that there were some big stars visiting the county. But, it came as something of a surprise for visitors to Stapleford Miniature Railway when Guns N' Roses bass guitarist Duff McKagan stopped by the Leicestershire attraction, which was running the first of two 2018 public open weekends.
According to railway volunteers, Duff - who was staying the night with the rest of the band at luxurious hotel Stapleford Park - bought a ticket to ride, but spent a long time talking to Melton Fire Station crew who were showing their appliance at the event, and his security team took him back before he had chance to hop on the train.
His visit came hours after he and the rest of Guns N' Roses headlined Download on Saturday evening. Train trips were enjoyed by members of the band's management team and their families, who were visiting from LA. Railway volunteers and visitors were given a wave by Guns N' Roses as they went off on their helicopter from the hotel to Download on Saturday evening. Then on Sunday evening, when lead vocalist Axl Rose departed for next leg of their European tour, the gathered crowd also received a wave from the mega star. Stapleford Miniature Railway has been visited by a few well-known faces over the years, including rugby star Martin Johnson, Madness singer Suggs, and record producer and well known train fan Pete Waterman, who opened the new station in 2008. The next open weekend will take place from August 25 to 27. It gives the public the rare chance to ride on the 10 1/4 inch gauge miniature railway.
