  1. I dont think it is coming this year. BUT, so what I will by it when it comes. Who cares if they are touring now. I will see them when they come to my area wether that is a year or five from now. It will come, when who knows, but it will.

  2. Until there is a locked down relase date the album will not be coming out any time soon. If they annouce a date it will still a while after that date that the record will come out.

  3. Just be patient, even if the record is done it will take a few months to print and advertise and all. If it does not come this year it will soon enough after.

  4. As much as I love Axl and in watching the events of the last ten years or so take place. Axl was the one who broke up the band. The others did not want to deal with the pressures so much or Axl wanted to much control. I met Slash once back in 1996. I told him I was a fan and just wanted to know what was up with the band. He said straight out, "It is was all up to Axl." "That they are waiting for him to figure out what kind of record he wanted to make." I will buy any and all releases that Axl puts out, but I love VR too. Classic style rock is hard to come by now a days.

  5. The new music is fantastic. Everything it could be and better, but there is no way it should have taken 10 years to produce. I love GNR and Axl is a giant among musicians. I can understand why the others left too. I met Slash back in 1996. We talked a bit about the break up. I did not push him at all. I asked a question he answered. Basically, he said Axl has no idea what he wants the record to be. I could tell it bothered him alot about band but he seemed to accept it. Even the UYI albums took way to long to make. They are fantastic but way over produced. I asked Slash about that too. He said the early versions of the songs were simple rock songs till Axl started tinkering with them. In the end I will buy the albums when they come out. See the shows when they tour. GNR is more than Axl, but Axl drives it.
