    It basically confirms what I initially thought: this reunion has been a joke from day one, and Slash & Duff have no honor. Always knew it somehow.

    It also confirms what I was wondering about Slash & Duff's feelings about Frank. Now it's clear: they don't like him, they don't judge him appropriate for the band, yet they both signed the contract to get the moneeeey. Great.

    Axl may not be depicted completely accurately, it's clear there was never much love between those two, but I found some parts interesting, especially when Matt describes Axl as having a special aura and that he feared him.

    I'm just on the fence with the Stephanie Seymour grabbing his balls, and Duff telling Matt she also made out with him. She sure is a very manipulative woman, but this is almost unbelievable. Extremely sad if true.

    Great book all around, even if it's not written in the best manners, it goes straight to the point and no one is spared, including Sorum himself. Dead honest rock n' roll book, very fresh to read in 2020.

    Duff used to have this reputation of being a good guy and a generally harmless fella, at worst people thought him kinda dumb (stemming from his drunken pre-pancreas explosion days).

    But as time passes and the more bits of information come to light, it seems that, for better or worse, Duff is actually pretty damn cunning and manipulative, not to mention ruthless if he wants to be. And he seems highly involved when it comes to band decisions, dealing with other former members, contracts, PR etc. 

    Slash (freshly divorced and needing cash) and Axl (easy to manipulate in general and probably also low on cash) likely fell perfectly in line with puppet master Duff's plans.

     

     

    So what.

    good on him , he got the ball rolling for the reunion all fans wanted to see. Give him a break. Besides do you know any of them Personally? If not then your comment is pure speculation.

    Gday all from down under

    long time reader of the site , rarely post and this would be the first thread I ever created.

    But there you have it folks , everything Axl Rose wanted to achieve in 1 song  and on the album it's from, Amerikkkant .That sound , that vision totally encapsulated by Al Jourgensen.

    Jourgensen is a master and prolific song writer , Axl Rose would be a massive fan of his , listen to any Ministry release especially Amerikkant or From beer to Eternity if you want a better understanding of Rose's vision.

    We were not getting JUST the classic 5, it was always going to be the AFD band WITH Dizzy, Frank (If Steven wasn't playing), Richard and Pitman/Melissa.... AND tht was just going to be a small part of certain sets, in certain cities.

    steven is so dumb . "You turn around and they would be gone" . That's because they were avoiding you Stevie, because everyone is just over listening to you dribble shit all the time.

    Nice n quiet is not just how Axl likes it Stevie , it's how most mature people like it . Gosh he needs to grow up.
