I know that's how you can tell if they added assigned seats. You can see them appear. The pit is just one big colored area that either has tickets available or doesn't. I don't know how you could tell if they added more to the pit like they sometimes do to normal sections that haven't sold out completely.
You just click and see the options, if they added pit as standard admission that's how you can tell.

How can you tell if they add pit? They don't give a count of those. Unless they are previously sold out and then reappear, I can't tell if more are added.
Just check the map periodically.

They added some more tickets for previously sold out areas but did not add pit. $250 priced tickets are not $120

I’m in the same boat, but will settle for outside of the pit if forced to.
I live in Austin so it's a 3 hour drive, so I will keep considering until like 11 am tomorrow lol

Why don't you get other seats? I'm sure they still have tickets for this show.
Not sure about Pit for this show. When I look on the concert map I see the front row tickets selling for over $700 or more. I got seats in Section 107 for $224.
Just preference. Last time I was in the pit so just kind of wanted a similar experience.

Sadly no PIT tickets showed up for this show. Considering VIPs sold out about a month ago, I guess it wasn't meant to happen. Saw them at ACL 2019 so might just skip this one, unless a PIT for $250 pops up on Live Nation.
-
Actually, you can use Visa checkout and use any type of card.
A friend lent me his card numbers back in May and I was able to buy my tickets during that presale

Skrillex in Houston was indeed terrible, but at least he wasn't a stuck up brat like The Cult.

The show at the Dodger Stadium on the 18th was "sold out" yet I bought Floor tickets the week before but then like 4 days before the show there were PIT 1 tickets. For the show on the 19th there were PIT 2 tickets too.
-
So just a little tip based on my personal experience, you can buy Pit tickets the week before the shows.
I know some folks are worried because they "sell out" fast but for their NA run many stadiums had GA Pit tix available 4-5 days before the show, but then disappeared a day or two before. The trick is to keep on checking every day at least 2-3 weeks before the show takes place.
I know GNR's tour did well, but they did not sell out any US tour date, there were plenty of tickets available for most shows, and not all the VIPs sell, so they eventually start releasing more good seats closer to the show.
This is nothing "official", just something I noticed.

Most US concerts get announced between 6-11. Here in Texas I usually see new concert announcements every monday and tuesday at around 8-9 in the morning.
-
So what do you guys think will be first? US or Canada?
I'm hoping they do the US in August but now it's unlikely unless they end the Euro run in july

i feel like i should be studying for my final exams but instead all i've been doing is refresh this site haha

That Washington Billboard was an incredible find haha
If they do arenas, here's hoping Austin gets one!
-
Watched it today. Didn't really like it.
-
I think the Edinburg billboard is for San Antonio. Why the hell would they promote a Mexican concert in the US? The Texas government barely wants us to go to Mexico because it's dangerous...at least that's what they say every spring break.
-
the fuck is Edinburg?
Next thing you see they'll have a billboard in Laredo haha
I hope it's San Antonio at the Alamodome. Would rather Austin but Austin doesn't have a stadium, just the UT one and they don't do shows there. Of course they can do it at the Formula 1 track like Taylor Swift did but it would be a pain in the ass.

You beat me to it....of note the article states an announcement is expected "early next week". But, no source or reasoning behind that speculation is provided
Newspapers have lots of sources they can't cite. I remember when I saw Metallica in Mexico, it was announced a week ahead by a newspaper.
-
If they do Minneapolis it's probably the brand new US Bank Stadium. I wanted to go to the opening show with Metallica, but I was in LA for the Dodger Stadium shows that weekend. Here's hoping they schedule it on a saturday so I won't need to worry about skipping class.
Still hoping they hit Austin or San Antonio.

It's not the arena at least in Buffalo. I'm 99.9% certain. It'll probably be stadiums in markets they didn't hit last Summer. No I'm not a GNR-insider(TM) but all signs point to Ralph Wilson Stadium especially in the Summer.
Lol at $2,500 to meet a band. GTFO with that nonsense. I guess if someone has the money, more power to them but I'll pass.
Yeah it's ridiculous. They still meet the bands from their fan club for free but it's like a raffle.
I remember when Duff did a couple book signings and I guess they were pretty cool. I know getting Axl was "easier" during the AC/DC tour but i bet it's still hard to find their hotel info and stuff like that.
-
Would they offer M&G packages this time? Metallica is doing them...for $2,500, but at least they are doing them lol
