Pretty sure the scarf was to keep his throat warm, singers do that. It looked like it was cold there?

I love Dead Horse but I think Axl wouldn’t sound very good singing it these days(or if he did it would strain his voice), it’s got a lot of rasp in it. I think if he is going to pull out the rasp, he is going to spend his voice on more well known songs.

My review of the show
It’ So Easy- There hasn’t been a bad version of this song, although some others are better. (Still good though)
Mr. Brownstone- One if the best performances, IMO it is second only to the Oklahoma ‘92 performance.
Live and Let Die- The best performance of the song of the ones we have. Simply incredible
The Garden- Amazing to finally see and hear this in good quality, an amazing song and performance.
Attitude- Like “It’s So Easy” this one isn’t bad, but it’s not the best performance of the song.
Nice Boys- This is just flat out fun. The crowd participation is great and the performance is fantastic. (The crowd was a little lacking though)
My Michelle- Great performance of the song and is really solid. (Would have perfered Matt’s choice)
So Fine- Good Song, good job. Nothing too noteable about it.
Welcome to the Jungle- Holy shit I think Axl broke some of the equipment with his screams. One of the best versions of the song.
Double Talkin’ Jive- This is just amazing. The intro, the song itself is just great. The outro was good.(Chicago ‘92 has the best one)
You ain’t the first- The best version of the song that we have. They really shine in the acoustic set.
You’re Crazy- Nothing else except, incredible.
Used to love her- Who doesn’t love beer, tits and Rock n’ roll? Awesome job and it’s just so much fun.
Patience- IMO this is the best version of the song that I’ve seen. They nail everything and couldn’t have done it better. (As a Zeppelin fan, I was ecstatic at the surprise in the middle of the song)
Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door- This is another song that can’t be done wrong. The acoustic part makes it amazing and Axl must have broken some shit with those screams.
November Rain- This is also great acoustic. The song is everything you could want for a “November Rain” performance. (minus the forgotten verse)
You Could Be Mine- It had to be started twice because of technical difficulties but that doesn’t take away at all. Another one of the best performances of a song at this concert. Axl’s voice is FUCKING POWERFUL. (I personally like the Matt drum solos, so the intro is pretty great)
Sweet Child O’ Mine- Damn, they pulled out all the best performances at this concert. This is another great version of this song. Just so fucking good. (First time we’ve heard a good quality “Since I Don’t Have You” and it’s so good)
Paradise City- I’ve said they have almost been the best performances for almost every song and it sounds repetitive, but it is so true. This version is just fucking amazing and godly. (The only part that keeps it from being the best it Axl cutting off Slash’s solo early)
It has only been released for a month, but it is already a top 5 GNR Concert for me. This is the go-to for anyone looking for Skin N’ Bones.
Thumbs up for your review. One thing I can assure you though, the crowd was not lacking at all at this show. I was there and we were loud and loving it. The crowd is simply not mic’ed properly to get the full effect. The only time the crowd was lame was during Slash’s solo: everyone sat down except for me and my friend (we stood, spellbound) and we got yelled at by the people behind us for being in their way.

Rose In The Wild was a limited edition run.
It may be sold out. I ordered a copy last weekend.Eager to receive it!
DMCA complaints aren't going to phase the bootleg outlets in Japan.
Yes, I agree that it's unlikely the bootleggers would get shut down. The smaller set that just had the Saskatoon show seems to have also disappeared; was that one limited edition too? Glad I ordered one even though I have it on my hard drive

I noticed today that eBay doesn't have any more listings for the "Rose in the wild" DVD cd set and that the Japanese websites that were selling them don't have them either any more. Coincidence or does anyone think that someone shut that down too?

Looking forward to seeing the "couch" portion of this show, I won't spoil it but they have some special guests serving them beer onstage (and if I recall correctly, serve the audience too). Also there is a incident/moment in the show where people thought Axl was going to freak out and storm off stage, but thankfully, he didn't (it will be interesting to see his body language/facial expressions up close to see if he was actually on the verge or not)

For the intro to WTTJ Axl faked us ( the audience) out, he says something like "ok time for a nice song to slow things down, settle down a bit etc" and then quickly cuts himself off " DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE FUCK YOU ARE???!!" I can't wait to see/hear that again.

I was at this show, I was 13, it was the greatest. I vividly remember Axl introducing this song and I was hanging on his every word. When he said "the garden" I kind of shrugged and was a little disappointed because it wasn't one of my favourites. Little did I know 25 years later that performance would generate all this excitement.

Can anyone tell me if there was merchandise outside earlier In the day? If so, was there lithographs available?
Yes the merch trucks opened around 1 and there were lithographs

Did anyone at the show notice Duff say "C'mon, are you ready, Saskatoon?" When he began "New Rose"? Me and my buddies had a good laugh, he probably meant to say "Saskatchewan"

Hey. My husband and I are headed to Regina from Edmonton and we made reservations at Beer Brothers downtown for 8pm on Saturday night....night before the show. Any other fans want to join us?
Beer brothers is great, I'm heading down Sunday morning. Where are everyone's seats?

Hmmm. Me neither? Is that a piano keyboard? It's not the right kinda car for F1, but that's as good a guess as any at this point...
It's not a keyboard, it's the top of the tower attached to Olympic stadium

Round six for me. Just dropped 3 G's on tickets and hotels for this shit, GNFNRs!!!!
-
Apparently some guy bought $1500 worth of posters from the merch truck before it opened, I got the last one outside the stadium!

Zombie post (or whatever it’s called)
I was at this concert, I remember it being very, very loud. The audience audio levels in the recording of this show are very low. I specifically remember the part in patience where Axl sings “the lights they shine so bright,”the house lights came on and the whole crowd roared; you can’t hear it at all when watching the pro shot.
