i have herd it. its ok. its catchy. but its not manson. he has lost his egde hate anger spark or what ever you want to call it. i just feel that emotion that he used to put into his music. he needs twiggy back badly. and john 5. tim skold just doesnt work for me. i dont like his guitar eather. golden age of grotesque was a stinker and i think eat me and drink me will to. im sure the mass plublic will love it just like they loved golden age of grotesque but they are all retarts and dont understand what mr manson is really all about. so yes thats my imput. mason justs seems like a sad goth/ emo just like every one else now

i agree. im tired of hearing a bunch of people tell me that Marlyn Manson is rebellious. sure he is, but that was abck in the 80's. he sucks now. i dont think he's even making music anymore (thank god). And its stupid to hear a bunch of emos say "OMFG! Marlyn Manson was rebellious. after he put out Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death) he stoped. so in my eyes really his only shity album is the The Golden Age of Grotesque one. it sucked balls. and also he wasnt even making music in the 80's dude. he was 1990's and got reali big after anticrist superstar in 1996. and yes he still is making music. he is putting out one last album called eat me drink me. but for emo's they can all die for all i care

then you should have some sort of respect for every ones personal style of playing and recognize bummblefoot for his own style and tallent.

I've played guitar for over 20 years. I should have said 'tapping' to begin with instead of 'hammer-on'. Either way, Bumblefuck should keep his right hand down by the bridge.
lemme guess:
your parents bought you a guitar when you were 13 so you could become the next great guitar hero. it sat in your room for 5 years and when you brought it to college you thought it would get you some tail. you learned a few chords and songs, but mostly, it sat in your dorm for 4 years, where you hung clothes on it. you kept it around after you graduated, but mainly just dicked around on it and just like in college it mostly just sat around. now you're making a decent living and buy guitars to hang on your office wall and impress clients.
either that or you just started playing and you're completely bullshitting about playing for 20 years because that's about 5 years longer than you've been on this earth.
as far as BBF goes. he's the greatest member this band's seen in a long fucking time. i had the opportunity to meet him, and nowhere is there any kind of image beyond his own personality.

just give them time. to me they are not a band that i listen to alot. infact i dont listen to them much at al. but they still rock my world. they did some amazing things and were an amazing band. its like a stepping stone to rock. its hard to explain i think?

gibsons are such shit guitars! iconic, but not worth the price (of course, who in guns n' roses actually pays for guitars)
has anyone noticed that every one of finck's les pauls is, in some way, altered. mostly just different knob placement, and new pickups or lack of certain positions, the one played on chinese democracy doesn't have a neck pickup.
bumblefoot of course has some taste outside his Paul, and richard plays some cool guitars too, mostly izzy-esque gibson hollowbodys (still shit) but i think i've even seen a pic with him with a zemaitis
Gibsons are still great guitars (if somewhat more "hit-and-miss" than they used to be), but I can guarantee you one thing, the one Robin is buying isn't your typical Guitar Center off-the-shelf LP.it has been decades since gibson really made quality guitars. now, an amerian gibson is still better than a lot of whats on the shelf @ yer local guitar center, but sitll, the quality has slipped a lot since the 80s, and somehow as the quality goes doewn the price goes up!
if finck bought the new '58 VOS reissue, he made a good choice though. thats like the top top $4000 type shit that is actually really good.
i think his typical mod is making the bridge volume and tone knobs active for both pickups, while placing the toggle switch where one of the neck pickup knobs used to be. this is usually done because the guitarist doesnt change volume/tone between pickups anyway, and so he won't flip the toggle switch up or down when he's rockin' out....
my thing is that i really hate seeing the les paul (or any gibson for that matter) put on this pedestal as like THE GUITAR you know? if you're gonna spend 4 grand on a les paul, why don't you go out and get a real guitar like a tom anderson or prs? i dunno, i guess i'm jaded from working at a high end guitar store
i guess "THE GUITAR" differs from person to person....i stick with fender and gibson personally. although when it comes to fender it's much cheaper and satisfying to put one together out of spare parts. my friend just built a tele for 700 bux that would go for 2000 if fender had actually made it....
at this point i think people go for les pauls b/c they're iconic and that kinda have that sound/feel.....some people just like gibsons, ya know? finck always had a les paul or les paul type guitar in NIN if i remember correctly....guess he's just a gibson guy....
just to put my 2 cents in i have a prs custom shop and american eagle, a james tyler, a bc rich and a les paul and my les paul is my favoritve. it feels the best in my hands by far. so for me it is the guitar. my tyler is a close second though.

In trents defense or I guess NIN the bands defense trent didnt write everything all by him self if you look at the credits many other people help write the songs. But i do admit that it is trents vision. Also that he wrote most of NIN's Songs and has controll over the band. I just think it is unfair to say no one does anything but trent.

Uh, they don't. Kid Rock is garbage now. He only appeals to white trash hicks, not New York rock fans, or GnR fans. His first couple of albums went platinum, and then his career dropped like a rock. I think his last album went tin foil.
He's old news, and having him on stage doesn't benefit Axl at all. It just shows how out of touch he is with today's music scene.
