  1. People have already pretty much summed up how I too feel about Cornell. He is undoubtly one of the most gifted musicians in business now.

I love their albums, and love their decision about making recording more frequent than what the norm is.

I also look very much forward to their DVD, out Oct. 11th.

  2. i am smellin like the rose somebody gave me caues im dead and bloated!  rock4

god i love dead and bloated! i loved it when STP did that live. be cool if VR did it.

id be so completely gutted if VR split, but the best thing that could come of it was if STP reunited, i think they could still make some amazing music.

every STP album is so different, but theyre all awesome.

I think VR already did Dead & Bloated live. Don't have any material too back me up, though. Anyone?

  3. You know what? You guys seem to forget one crucial thing when you complain about the people who vote Axl. Music is all about connection. If Axl Rose connects you in a way that Bob Dylan doesn't, then you should have the rights to think Axl is a better artist.

I respect Bob Dylan, and loves a lot of his music, but Axl is a musician I can identify myself with. Why do you think Kurt Cobain is legend. It's not because of his music, but his gift for connecting with people. Axl is the same for me, and I guess, a lot of others who voted for him here. Sure, I realise there A LOT who just vote Axl for no apparent reason. I don't.

  4. I read the article on them in Classic Rock. Naturally, since they mentioned AFD as one of their favourite albums, I was intrigued. I'll make sure I check out their material.

  5. Roadstar can be found on old dvd's from Classic Rock and Metal Edge, among others. I gotta admit I get good vibes from this band, they remind me of Aerosmith. Can't wait for the album.

  6. I don't know, it's a hard one, both albums are brilliant. I had too go with Out of Exile though, because I feel it's overall a better record. Hopefully VR will crush it with their next record.

I think both albums need a few listenings in order to know the songs, so don't write either of them off before you've listened to them a few times.

  7. I got it! Think Shakin' my cage is a brilliant tune, and 10 years is a beautiful ballad.

However, some of the songs are below-par, but a good album. Just not great.
