Just get the most powerful one. A 150 watts RMS per channel all-in-one system will easily beat a 40 watts per channel seperates set-up costing twice as much. I speak from personal experience here. I had a 40 watts per channel seperates set up at one time and later a 100 watts per channel mini system and it was just so much better for rock music. Music cannot sound good unless it's being pushed put of the speaker with a lot of power behind it. Hi-fi magazines prattle on about puny amps being good all the time but it's all relative. Power is essential for sound quality.Try not to go less than 100 watts rms per channel.

IMHO, the Van Halen track "Don't tell me what love can do" is just a stunning melodic hard rock song. Crunching, passionately sung and huge hooks.
Check it out at www.redrocker.com/videos. You can see the whole video on realplayer.
One of my all-time fave tracks.

Funnily enough, I just checked into cduniverse.com and their review makes comparison with GnR!

Dream Theatre "Awake". I bought this when it first came out and it's just stunning to listen to late at night with the lights out. I don't like all of their stuff but I really recommend this to anyone who like classy atmospheric metal.

HE got the words mixed up when he sang it the second time at the end, singing (after a slight confused pause) "where I'd hide as a child".

On "Let me entertain you", he sounds uncannily like Axl in the chorus.

Only a serial groupie could answer this one if you're using member as a euphemism.
