Seems security was tight at some entrances and not so much at others. We entered via the red entrance and was searched twice and my brothers weather was checked with the wand etc.

The flairs were let off not far from us and didn't mind them at all tbh

Can confirm this was played at the end over the PA remember saying to my mate it was the bond song Cornell did 

Just home from slane now tired but on an absolute high. I've waited all my life to see these guys perform together and they didn't disappoint us tonight 

Will post more info on setlist etc in morning after I get some sleep

Just arrived in slane parked in nearest car park to the castle and it is lashing the rain. To clear around 3 according to the weather forecast

Fibber Magees just off oconnell street is a good rock bar and as far as I mind it does pitchers of beer

MCD the promoter for the Slane gig confirmed it as sold out few weeks ago but not sure if they included the expensive vip package in that

Would say it will be like previous gigs at slane where dublin bus run a shuttle service from Dublin to Slane on the day. Say tickets be available for it closer the show gets

Yeah ticketmaster Ireland printed my tickets last Thursday and have told me will have them in next 2 weeks

Slane now officially announced as being sold out. From what I seen Friday it sold out in less than 12 hours

Venues that haven´t sold a 80% of the tickets: Gdansk, Bilbao, Lisbon, Tel Aviv.

If the show in gdansk still has tickets available in the new year I might look into going to it. Been in the city before and had great time and can get cheap flights to their from Dublin.  

Ticket prices cheaper as well with the current exchange rate 

I'll be sitting up there as well as that is where the disabled area is. Looks a good distance away from the stage but know me and the brother be just happy to be at our 1st guns n roses show 

Ticketmaster website showing Slane as sold out which surprised me as didn't think it would so close to Christmas. 

Only tickets left are the welcome to the jungle vip ticket. Wonder will they take these tickets and sell them as golden circle tickets instead after they realise no one will pay the extortionate price they asking for the package

Golden circle tickets sold out for Slane  (well at least the €149.50 ones) but still seems to be plenty GA available. Not really surprised at Slane holds 80000+ which is alot of tickets to sell in weeks leading up to Christmas 

Contacted ticketmaster about tickets today as they been posted out to me and wondering would they be here before Christmas 

Was told tickets been printed today  (for slane) and we have them in the post in the next 2 weeks, surely if was an issue with the codes would of flagged it by now and wouldn't go to the bother of printing and posting them

He bought 2 tickets for London on it and I've got 1 disabled ticket and 2 GA tickets for Slane on it as well so 5 tickets in total (is possible the disabled ticket not counted in presale total as for u2 in Belfast was able to buy disabled ticket during presale and the code wasn't needed. Usually ticketmaster Ireland are good at sticking to limit on presale with site saying 1,2 etc tickets left)

I know with the code I've access to I can't buy anymore for the London or Slane gigs but checked last night on other ticketmaster sites and was able to buy tickets for any of the other European shows (not that I did just wanted to see if it would say code was used already etc)

Not great way to do presale codes if not all sites telling you they been used before etc know that's been the case with other presale before. Fact that ticketmaster Ireland confirmed my tickets 24 hours after buying them and said they be posted out is making me think should be alright

I bought tickets in two different countries and not more than three in every country (5 in total). It will be alright.

I've done the same mate bought 2 tickets for London gig and I got 3 for Slane using same code. Think it be grand as ticketmaster Ireland confirmed tickets for me 24 hours after booking was processed

2 of us going along to this as well driving up from donegal day of the show so expect long delays getting home but be well worth it as finally getting to see them live
