I love all types of music not just rock n roll, I just don't like an artist that infringes on a certain genre destroys it integrity and gets rewarded for it, that's all.

Dave Grohl is decent, he's better than Nickelback, Staind, Three Days Grace, My Chemical Romance, etc etc etc. He's also an AMAZING drummer (see Them Crooked Vultures and of course Nirvana)

I do not for the life of me understand why anyone would have harsh words and criticisms about Ashba. He is the most exciting guitar player that I have seen, he has personality, rock n roll swagger and sensibility, a creative mind,

and a love for guns n roses. He wants to aspire into greatness with this band, and I think he will. You can tell that Axl is happy with him, because he knows that they have chemistry together. Axl is a musical prodigy, and ashba is the most exciting Gun n roses replacement on lead, since slash. He as an attention for detail and a profound love for what Axl is working on, and I think when these to minds get together we will have much to look forward too. I cannot help getting excited about what he can bring to the table.

Ashba brings the swag back in rock n roll, I think he has really meshed well with Axl, and they are good for each other, so maybe they can get some much needed creative juices together, and make something happen.

Wow. The NR clip is like nothing I've seen from Axl before. On a whole, compare Axl of last night to Axl of last year or 2006 etc: Is this the same guy? The Axl in 2006 looked like a guy ready to take over the world. Last year he came back heftier, but looked badass, and performed incredibly.

I think the original poster is on to something. I didn't think of it before, but I think Axl does have a drug problem, prescribed or otherwise. Maybe health problems: thyroid or some metabolic problems or something. But something isn't right.

This guy went from giving the best performances of his career a year ago, to what we saw at Rio last night. I don't think this was just an "off night" either.

If he needs medication to function, that's great. A lot of people do, and it's a really good thing. But, there are ways to medicate without it hindering you like this. Time for Axl to find a new psychiatrist.

And if it's a self medicating thing, then people in his inner circle need find a way to get through to him and get him on track.

I could say maybe he was drunk or something, but have we ever seen Axl like this before? Never. Even during his bad performances, he is crisp and powerful, giving it his all.

When he performed NR, it was downright hilarious and endearing. The funniest part was when he mumbled the words to try and pass it on as part of the song, and then he looked straight toward the front of the stage, like he was saying, where is those damn teleprompters when I need them, DAMN IT!!!! and as far as him having these up and down moments, if we havent excepted it by now we may never, just listen to scraped and know his life is a roller coaster. I hope that he is not on drugs, he is such a private person, the world may never know, I just hope beta taking care of him the right way, and making sure he is alright since she has the biggest influence over him.

Yes, the show was pretty bad, but Axl really has nothing to prove when you think of his glorious merits, he was once the greatest rock star around and I still think he is, he has milllioins of dollars, has been with fine women, and had the greatest band that got to travel all around the world, he really has nothing to prove because he as had everything is heart desired, just because the show was a disasterpeice, does not mean we should put him under the bus, he is a living legend, and let us celebrate him living, instead of crying about it when he is no longer with us.
