I don’t even think they know what’s next.

I thought all over print died off which is why I never see Ed Hardy or Affliction shirts anymore.

I mean, he’s not entirely wrong. Those up the front paid a decent amount to be up there and most didn’t even look that interested. It was $3000 NZD to be up there, $500 per band which is just above the going rate to be up the front for these bands anyway. When I saw Maiden on the Book Of Souls tour, it was $160 and I arrived several hours early to be up the front. Now that same area for the Future Past tour is locked into a VIP ticket at $400. Granted I still paid it (it’s Maiden) but what hes saying about a one off festival can also translate into the rest of the tour as well.

I saw Sir Paul McCartney recently in Australia. Hearing songs by The Beatles by the person who sung them is something I never thought would happen. I knew the most of the setlist beforehand so I had an idea of what he was going to play. That night he switched things up slightly and opened with Hard Day’s Night, which just happens to be my fave Beatles song. Such an unexpected and surreal moment for me. Singing along with 40,000 others during Hey Jude was an experience in itself as well.

I love her early country / pop material. Fearless is just banger after banger (whether you like to admit it or not) and Speak Now is a top to bottom lyrical masterpiece. Her ability to tell a story in three minutes and invest you in the characters is right up there. After Red I lost interest. An all pop direction didn’t really appeal to me. I still like a few songs from each album but nowhere near how I feel about Fearless and Speak Now.
Taylor at the moment though is beyond Marvel levels of over saturation. She. Is. Everywhere. The Eras Tour is the biggest tour at the moment and has released seven albums between now and when the pandemic started.
Plus most of her fans are absolutely batshit crazy.

Back in 2014, I saw Bruce Springsteen play Born In The USA top to bottom then Born To Run the next night.

Axl's new sneakers, black leather white bottom , they look like chucks but what brand are they?
Giuseppe Zanotti. They'll set you back around $700 a pair. Almost bought me a pair with my winnings when I was in Vegas last month.

They look great! What's the style or model number?
P8478. The lenses can also be swapped with multiple other colours too.

Even though I already have a pair of Porsche Design sunglasses, I decided to try out the ones with the pink lenses that Axl's been wearing lately. As soon as I saw what they looked like, I said I'll take them. Definitely the nicest pair I own. If you had told me I'd buy a pair of pink $550 sunglasses, I would have laughed at you.

I'd like to see a double concert released . One disc with Brian and the other with Axl.

While in LA, I passed a Barneys store which has Amiri clothes. They didn't have much in stock but I noticed a few things Axl has worn.
They only had one flannel shirt (black and grey) in stock which felt very soft. Certainly a lot higher quality than your standard flannel shirt. That cost $560.
They had two skeleton leather jackets which seemed to run a bit smaller. It was white and gold studded but slightly different to the one Axl has worn. I wanted to try it on (just because) but it was tied to the rack and I couldn't be bothered getting someone over to unlock it. That'd set you back $2200 which I thought was pretty cheap in comparison to the plain black leather jacket they had which was over $6000.
There were a few different pairs of jeans but not the exact ones he's worn. While they felt nice, the True Religion ones he used to wear looked a lot better.

Just saw Guns this time last week. Next up is Bruce Springsteen on the 25th of this month then Green Day in May.

AC/DC are my favourite band but with Malcolm, Phil, Brian and now Cliff gone, I'd rather see them go out on a (debatable) high that was the Rock Or Bust Tour than try to continue on with new members. Thats nothing against Stevie and Chris though. They've done a great job on this tour.

I've watched the Wasted Years video many times now. What a compilation of an amazing tour. I thought Bruce messing with Adrian's mic was something he only done as a once off but I like that he's done it a few times.
I've only seen them once on the Book Of Souls Tour and its still one of the very best concerts I've been to. Meeting them the night before, besides Nicko and Dave, was the highlight though.

I like to get location exclusive merchandise but that Auckland shirt was all sorts of average, had to pass on it.

Awesome show. Fifth time seeing them and it was better than the previous combined. Axl was in a happy mood the entire night.
Yesterdays came as a surprise. The crowd in the VIP Pit were a bit average, most people just standing there, apart from a few in the front centre who really got into it.

I’m not even going but I’m still hoping he’ll play Kill Devil Hill on this tour.
