Creed is the most god awful band on the face of this planet. Fuck Scott Strap and his jesus christ posse. His voice does sound like Eddie Vedders but shitty, all their songs sound the same, they are real fuckin cocksuckers.

I think tommy stinson's voice (which sucks) drowns out axl's voice in almost every version of Its SO Easy i have heard by the new band.

Reunion by a long shot. If i had the opportunity to see Axl play with Slash, Duff, and Izzy or see him release a cd with Tom Sinston, Robin Finck and Buckethead, i am defintley gonig to go for the reuinion tour.

Never really been a fan of U2. But if i had to put money on it they will have their album out first....sorry axl

Yeah CKY obviously did not want to be there and were very rude to the crowd.  and all over their music sounded the same and you couldn't even understand what the dude was singing.  don't waste your time with these f*ckers.  Your better off sitting out in the parking lot tailgating and getting f*cked up then going in there, paying 5.50 for a beer and watching CKY and MMM.  But GnR made the whole wait worth everything!

i was there and the show straight f*#king rocked!!  It was kind of weird seeing axl play with an all new band but i'll tell ya, they really are a good group of musicans.  Haha, Finck does a good Slash impersonation, but the guy does have some talent.  the show really kicked ass, and if you get a chance to go see these guys, GO!

the censor on this thing distorted what CKY said.  They called Pittsburgh, Sh*ttsburgh, not nutsburgh. haha

went to the show tonight and all i can say is 'wow'.  what a night.  I sat up in the seats and had a pretty good view of the from the left side of the stage.  The show did not sell out by any means.  the floor was only half full and the seats were roughly 2/3 full.

CKY came out and after seeing them i have absolutely no respect for those f@#ks.  They came out dissing Pittsburgh calling it Shittsburgh which didn't go over well with a crowd, most of whom never even heard of these guys.  After every song they got booed and they always had some smart remark for the crowd.  after their 6-7 song set they went off stage and the guitar player started telling some guy he was a piece of s*hit and a loser because he had the mike.  It was good to see them go.

MixMasterMike came out about 8:30 or so.  He was good for 10 minutes but it got really old really quick.  Most of the fans were getting pissed and i ended up getting up to smoke a cigarette out in the cold so i wouldnt have to listen to that s*it.  Rumor has it his part of the show was streched because axl hadn't made it to the building yet.  that is just a rumor though.  he kept telling the crowd to get more pumped up for axl but he was playing lots of rap to a rock crowd that was not digging it at all.  the only real applause he got was after he left (i'm thinking his set lasted 90 minutes but i may be exaggerating as it felt like forever.

Then comes more of the 'waiting game'.  i was so pumped.  then the titty cam starts and it was really sweet because lots of hot girls showed their boobies on camera.   It was great!!! Finally around 10:45 or so the lights go out and the curtians drop.   They started with some weird guitar sounds and then the opening riff to welcome to the jungle.  the crowd went f@#king crazy.  Axl comes out in a #36 Jerome Bettis jersey (pittsburgh steelers) and later changed to #66 Mario Lemiux (pittsburgh penguins).  

The setlist was pretty much the same as past shows i've seen reviews for except 'My Michelle' wasn't played.  Highlights of the show were jungle, its so easy,  live and let die, november rain, night train, paradise city. f*ck it they were all great.  While many parts of axl seemed to not have changed, he has his s*it together much more so than before it appeared.   He's got a really good band together.  Finck and Buckethead were both awesome.  The band interacted with each other well and really put on a hell of a show.  Its great to see a 40 year old man who still has so much stage charisma and can entertain like no one else.  he was all over the place running and doing his trademark dances.   Buckethead was great.  I've only heard about his numchuck/robot dance/guitar solo and its really quite a trip!  he's very strange but very talented!  Also, the pyro and fireworks and sh*t were better than anything i've ever seen before at a concert, but i haven't had much else to compare it to.

Axl dedicated Think About YOu to all the titties up on the screen before they came on. ( i think so he was hard to understand with all the noise).  he spoke much about criticism he's gotten and the old band.  he defended having 8 people in his band.  he went on a rant about the internet .  one interesting comment he made went something like this: "Yeah were going to be playing mostly oldies but goodies tonight.  And for those of you who don't understand that, well, that's your fucking problem.'

This was a great show besides the bullsh*t at the beginning with CKY and MMM and the waiting (although the titties made the waiting pretty fun!!).  If you EVER get a chance to see Axl and this band play, DO IT DAMN IT!  It is so worth it.   Lots of people there were upset about the new guns n roses and kept chanting 'Slash'.  I totally felt those people, but Axl really has a great group of musicans togther that are worth the attention they get in their own right.  Just take my advice: show up after the opening acts have gone on and enjoy the show cuz its a blast!

Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, PA on November 22, 2002 and I am pumped!!  THis will be my first time seeing gnr because i grew up in St. Louis and well.. you know the story.   I'll put a review of the show up after i get back.  

Anyone interested in going to this show should get tickets ASAP because i think it will sell out.  10 more days!!
