mmm they have toured with Adler as their drummer, performed with BBF and Ferrer, toured with Gilby Clarke, appeared with Steel Panther at the House Of Blues in Hollywood earlier this month, get invited on the guestlist / backstage to every GNR tour in the UK since 2002 and perform their own world tours to 1000's of people. Very lame yeah! and bitching about them on a forum isn't lame right? Cos everyone is doing something so much cooler here right?

Hmmm Guns 2 Roses suck balls? The same Guns 2 Roses who have played and toured with Steven Adler, Gilby Clarke, Bumblefoot Frank Ferrer? The same Guns 2 Roses who Universal had host the Chinese Democracy album launch and the who were vip guests on 3 different GNR tours in 2006-10-12. VS a Serbian cover band named after a Thin Lizzy song that have about as much GN'R charisma as garage band. Sorry man your entitled to your opinion but don't knock the most successful GN'R tribute in the world and not expect a comeback. That fact they have toured the world speaks for itself. If they don't sound like GN'R then there are a lot of deaf people out there.

Well he can't be Axl Rose
He is not like Axl - just playing a tribute to old gnr lineup ( they are not performing new stuff )
Also his voice is very nice and similar to Axl's and he have body looks like Axl in early 90's so he make what he stands for - a tribute singer
He is not motionless ! The stage was small - really small so he couldnt even do much - but yes,i think he can't dance and be showman as Axl but then again he is not even tryin to dance like Axl because Axl dance is not important for music world ,but his voice is.

There is no other band in world - including guns2roses or pistolas y rosas etc wich can sing or play music as Jailbreak does.
Check his voice and music by band ( even noone else then singer look like gnr member ) and they rock and thats most important - to share a love for gnr music by making nice music tribute , not to imitate some moves ,clothes or styles......

The guy does good dude but considering you haven't even seen Guns 2 Roses live other than Youtube you cannot call this band better than them. The musicians in G2'R are way better than the ones in this band especially the Slash. As for the singer the Jailbreak guy may one that spot however as showman and enterainer Gav from G2'R is better. I don't wanna start a versus thing between them cos i think these Jailbreak guys are good however i'm sure all the other Axl frontmen from the other tributes you mentioned can do the voice just as well if they stand virtually still all night. I saw G2'R do an acoustic show once in Cardiff and voice wise Gav was spot on. He tends to shake it up a bit when drinking alochol on stage and running around on their bigger shows lol but always delivers and authentic performance. For me it has to be the whole package that makes a awesome GNR tribute, every member! To make me believe i'm almost back in the 90's. Not just 1 member who sounds slightly like Axl Rose. Jailbreak are a great band and i look forward to checking out their original material but as a tribute? If Jailbreak were that good dude then the ex Yugoslavia countries where you and they are from would not be flying Guns 2 Roses in from England to play there 4 to 5 times a year.

I was on Jailbreak concert in Zagreb (the day after Sisak ) and I was stunned!
The singer is 80% Axl phisically, 90% low voice, 100% high voice.
I mean - high voice IDENTICAL
I was listening to him with my jaw open.
If you would bring me to GNR concert and the first song would be sung by this guy, but he would be, for example, behind the stage - I would totally buy the story!

The guy has zero stage presence! Looking at those videos Mafia did and on Youtube! The guy is virtually motionless. He conservses all his energy on trying to sound like Axl. The rest of the band are average. Lets see how he sounds running around or rocking out like Axl did.
Sorry man but in my eyes a soundalike and an average sounding band does not make this the best GNR tribute band in the world as Mafia called them.

UKGNR's response:Well, we are still waiting to hear most of it but yeah, from the first single, i dont think many are hopeful that it will match the magic 1987-1992 GNR era. Velvet revolver came 70% close with a fantastic album and a not-so-fantastic one. Just goes to show that the original band were more than the sum of their parts. Something magical happened between those guys like Led Zep, Stones.. etc. Its impossible for one, two or a few members to trulely hit that peak without everyone involved. Why the F**ck did axl go and have to deprive all of their fans of the band. We could have had 5-8 GUNS N ROSES albums in this peroid of inactivity. All for attention. The truth is they CAN'T play the new stuff. I know some of the band personally and the singer can't hit Axl's notes on the new album and the guitarists are limited at best. To do the new album it would require another member on guitar a shredder in fact. The UKGNR are a good band but very well known in the UK for being robots. Meaning you see the same show over and over and over again. Tokyo 92. Ths singer has no on stage charisma other than what he learned of the UYI dvds
However Guns 2 Roses who are known for their ability to change their act on every performance "ARE" performing tracks from the new album and even have a mini tour from the 20th - 23rd of November around London.
The show they have on Thursday will even have a member of interscope previewing the album.

No i'm not their manager. I'm a long term fan and have been since they started out. So i plug them wherever and whenever i can.
Yes the show was free however their were 4 other acts going on at 4 different stages around Liverpool city centre whilst G2R were playing. However everyone came to see G2R.
Its not uncomman for Guns 2 Roses to get such a big crowd. Even one that pays for tickets. Just ask anyone from Slovenia or Romania cos thousands turned up.
World gone crazy you say? Whats so crazy about so many people going to see them? They're the closest thing to Axl / Slash era GNR you can get right now and they are keeping alive an era we all love as GNR fans. The only people that knock it are the jealous ones!

I hate to be jealous not to enjoy coverbands?
Go ahead and tour around using your life to play other peoples music, I prefer to try playing my own music.
You prefer playing your own music and thats why no one will ever know who you are cos your here bitching about coverbands!
And in this day and age playing your own music gets you no where fast.
Tribute / Cover bands is the latest craze hitting the planet. Its happening with all bands.
Guns 2 Roses have members doing their own original bands and they support G2R so they can get maximum exposure at top venues around the world which is geneius if you ask me ! The interviews tell you that. They all do big things in other aspects entertainment as well G2R.
The difference is between them and you is they have a great thing going on and you are an over critical jealous 19 year old who doesn't have a fucking clue!

It was sure as hell fun for the 3000+ that were at that concert! The videos show everything! Not to mentioned the fans on here and G2R's thousands of UK fans!

)They ain't the best dude! And they ain't the only band to have the lead singer front Adler's Appetite. G2R_AXL from this forum and Guns 2 Roses did it 2 years prior to him. Colby is not the current lead singer for Adler's Appetite that was a part time thing. He was replaced late last year.
Guns 2 Roses are a bigger & better GNR tribute and they've covered every image and era of GNR to date minus the CD era. The real Axl even invited the singer on tour with New Guns in 06.
They're slowly started up a world tour kicking off in Slovenia tomorrow night. USA, Europe and Japan i've been told are all on the cards.

If you want to cover GN'R or anyone else that's great I do it as well with my band but stop trying to be GN'R.
And who the fuck is gonna pay to see and band who just cover other GNR songs in their own style? Theres no novelty in that and no incentive for people to go and see the band!
Its not pathetic for a band to cover and look and sound like the original lineup it pays tribute and gives the people the memories of what was once great as well as give new fans an idea of what it used to be like.
If it was that pathetic Axl Rose himself would have nothing to do with them. But instead he endorsed the UK tribute Guns 2 Roses and even invited the singer (g2r_axl on here) on the UK tour in 2006. Slash also endorsed their lead guitarist and Steven Adler played as their drummer. And now they tour the world!
There nothing pathetic about that son! Its called a tribute band and all big bands have tribute bands! Get used to it! Instead of being an over opinionated forum obsessed little jerk off they're doing something you ain't / can't and won't be doing!
Nightrain.us good vocalist but thats about it. Stage presence wise you remind me of some obsessed Axl fan in front of his mirror with a hairbrush or something. Sorry man i just think your a bit over eager to get noticed. personally i'd wait until you had at least 5 people in the band and a decent look before representing yourself.

Adler's Appetite
Guns 2 Roses ARE Adler's Appetite as far as the UK goes dude! Last time Adler was on stage in the UK in 2006 he was with Guns 2 Roses! If and when he comes back to the UK he's most likely gonna be with G2R again!

UKGNR also took requests from us too. Ended up playing Don't Cry. The gigs at which UKGNR played were decent, and the atmosphere was great on a Saturday night. I saw G2R on a Sunday night in a huge bar, which was 1/4 full - so not much atmoshpere. Both are decent bands though.
By request though dude i mean't the obscure stuff like Coma or Breakdown not something of Greatest Hits that any band could play. If your saying you saw G2R on a 1/4 crowd on a Sunday night the fact it was a Sunday might have something to do with the crowd cos everytime i've seen them on a Friday and Saturday its packed! Both bands are well known in their own right but in my opinion Guns 2 Roses do tip the scales as far as talent, popularity and variety in performances go.

yup Guns 2 Roses and UKGNR are awesome mate and easily the only 2 tribute worth spending your money on. Both are 6 piece bands.
Given a choice of the 2 though i'd go with Guns 2 Roses! Apart from each member looking and sounding so much like the real people when on stage they are also real GNR fans that don't play the same old Tokyo / Paris style setlist every show they do; which sadly UKGNR are well known for doing and have done everytime i've saw them.
G2R sometimes even take requests from the audience. The March 7th gig in London is one of their hometown gigs so you should be in for an awesome night.

The original guy is have some time off to travel so their getting someone else in until mid March. I've been told it might be Geos the Tom Araya lookalike, not sure though! I'm gonna see them next at the Whammy Bar in Ystrad Mynach, Feb 8th. Gonna be an awesome night!

Actors have been around for hundreds of years in fact. The only scary thing is how jealous some people get over other people that are doing well for themselves and entertaining and giving us something we can't see from the original band anymore. Look into the members of Guns 2 Roses a bit further and you'll see that nearly every member of the band is into big things in entertainment aside of the GNR tribute!

Hardly competition to Guns 2 Roses dude. One band is in the Usa and the other is in the Uk.
Mr Brownstone is a pretty easy song to get to sound like Axl. Try and get them doing something with a bit of effort vocally like Coma or Locomotive see how they sound then.

No, he wasn't - the group fronted for Adler after Adler fired his band, and needed to fulfil tour dates.
Which makes little difference dude, he was still the lead singer with Adler and it was well documented! Plus doesn't take away the fact he was vip with New GNR on various dates in 2006.
As for Adler autographs, he actually sold a candid 8x10 photo he took of Adler (naked apart from a scarf around his dick)
which Adler also signed. (there was a video at one point on Youtube of Adler signing it) He sold this to a fan in London last year as well as various drumsticks in which i own a pair.
