Hit a chapters and buy a poster tube first. Run you about 3 bucks. According to the girl that helped me they used to sell them at the stand but ran out.

Frankly, I think if they opened the damn roof it would solve a lot of it. No fun city strikes again I guess.

Well it's a dome and they leave the roof closed. Sounds like 50,000 seat tin can. 

U2 sounded okay but they were rehearsing here so they had a few weeks to tinker with the sound. I thought Metallica sounded terrible, but in talking to a few folks they thought it was okay. I'm kinda hoping it was just me. 

Seem like they open it in the afternoon sometime. Hopefully its a few hours before as I have my day planned around that truck .

Interesting start time. My Vancouver ticket still says show starts at 7:00. Wonder if they'll change it or is Edmonton curfew earlier than ours.

I'm betting the Vancouver litho is a riff on the Jade Canoe statue that's in the Airport. Just calling it now :-).

They've gone from atrocious to potentially tolerable. U2 in May wasn't terrible but they probably aren't as loud. I actually think having the roof open would help a little, but I bet they have to keep it closed with all the condo towers around the building now. Less noise complaints.
