I have their 3 LPs (it's all of them):
Try "Fragile" or "Downward Spiral" first. Then "Pretty Hate Machine".Also, their EP "Broken, I haven't heard it, but I heard it's like thrash, industrial style.
NIN is really a one-man band in a studio (he layers over).
The lyrics are incredible. "Fragile" contains some of my fav.s:
"Starfuckers": People worshipping talentless, shallow "celebs".
"Somewhat Damaged": the build/music is incredible.
