Writing was on the wall. Very predictable. It sucks

They sold low 30k which isn't shabby.

4 new shows have been added through Oct 27th. Metallica rolls into town the following weekend. The plot thickens on the reschedule.
-
I am thinking October 20th or 21st is the only possible option
-
Could it be the real reason they cancelled was so Duff could be with his wife in NYC?

I love that the GNR Merch Truck is open and selling t-shirts for today's rescheduled show.
Where is it open at?

I was told b a high up Busch Stadium employee that they delivered 30k tickets and would likely achieve low to mid 30's judging by St Louis' past of late tickets sales. That puts the it at 85% sold.

Hey guys,
Not sure if anyone mentioned this (I'm sure it must have been but i couldn't see it!) that the guy who was taking the photos at the '91 gig that caused this whole issue was actually at the gig also?https://www.alternativenation.net/fan-axl-rose-attacked-attends-guns-n-roses-st-louis-comeback/
Please delete if already mentioned - pretty surreal to see the guy smiling and laughing about it!
Yeah it was mentioned earlier in the thread he was there. It's really cool he attended and is still a fan so worth pointing out again. There is even a photo of Axl pointing to him and smiling while he performed. Awesome moment.

Anyone has an idea where they staying? Or even where to start looking? I saw a few posts on here about it but doesn't seem like an expensive enough hotel for the band. Anyone?
I hear a lot of the crew was staying at the Magnolia which makes sense since it is basically across the street from the dome. Not sure if the band is staying there too. Four Seasons would also make sense. If anyone hears for sure, please post.

The fan meetup is tonight at Hair of the Dog, which is at 212 Washington Ave. in STL. It starts at 7 pm, but I read that the bar is open til 3 am, so I imagine the party will be going strong for a pretty decent amount of time. I don't believe there are any "official" plans for a pre-show gathering tomorrow, but it sounds like there are lots of bars near the venue. I'm sure those will be full of fellow fans doing some celebrating.
As far as merch goes, I do think that some stands usually open outside the venue prior to doors. I'm not sure what time the merch stands usually open, but maybe someone else can answer that better than I can.
That totally sucks. Have you checked out America's Best Value Inn on 3rd St.? It's super close to the Dome, and has by far been the cheapest place that close to the venue available these past couple of months. Doesn't seem like the nicest of places, but if you're just looking for a place to have as your home base, I'd say check it out. I was originally planning to stay there, but ended up scoring a nearby Airbnb earlier this month.
FYI Hair is at 1212 Washington Ave. I think you accidentally left the 1 off.

Thanks man. I'll check out Taste. Have you been to thaxon. Is it over rated?
Yes I have been. It's legit. Very authentic place with incredible decor. I know the owners and they take the place very seriously.

Have you been to Thaxon or Taste? I'm curious if they are legit.
Taste is a legitimate cocktail bar. It's not downtown but awesome. Thaxton is a speakeasy that doesn't open till 9. Would be an option after the concert.

Well, I wouldn't call it a "pre show" if it doesn't start til 7??? Is that a cool bar though?
Very cool bar

I live downtown. Yes most of the bars are concentrated along Washington Ave to the west of the dome. It would be cheaper to park in the 1400 block and walk to and from the dome hitting up a few of cool places along the way and after the concert. Some solid options along Washington are….
Flamingo Bowl – Bowling alley with a great happy hour. Good Beer and food
Hair of the Dog - dive bar. Great beer list. No food
314 The City Bar – good beer selection and good hamburgers
Missouri Bar and Grille – Solid bar with good atmosphere. Good gyros.
Flannerys – Irish. good food
Lucas park Grille – fancier, but good food and nice outside patio.
Or you could walk a few blocks (or park) over on Olive Street which contains the following between 10thand 12th street…
Jack Patrick’s – Dive bar with beer awesome hamburgers
Crack Fox – Halloween/metal bar with good beer selection and pizzas.
Bailey's Range – Good Burgers and extensive beer list.
Hope this helps. I am super pumped. Let’s flood downtown a blast GNR out of every juke box downtown before and after the concert.

I suppose they can't transfer tickets to other venues. If you have a seat in section 150 how does that translate to a different venue?
