Sad. Very sad. I hope he recovers

There's a band touring as "Frankie goes to Hollywood" that has none of the original members and has in fact been sued by the original members. They play hair-metal versions of the original songs. So I don't know if that counts

I actually know a gay transvestite called angel, I just rememberred
You his best customer?
lol

I think it'll be out this year. You can never be 100% sure with Axl. But I tend to believe the record companys statement that there are "only 13 tuesdays left in 2006". Of course that number has gone down now. But that statement sounds very specific

Why do some people think that Steven had an ulterior motive? People reconcile after feuds. It's a fact of life

Kirk always seemed like a likeable guy. So I'm happy for him. Congrats to him

To me Jeff Keith of Tesla has the best voice in rock

Not so much these days. I used to listen to as much dance music as hard rock. But not anymore

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Pearl Jam
Queensryche
Alice In Chains
The Offspring

One of the worst songs ever. When the Macarena briefly replaced it as the song that got played at sporting events, I was actually hoping that the change would be permanent. I don't love the Macarena. Not at all. But I think it's a million times better than YMCA

the chemistry between axl and finck/fortus/brain/ron/tommy/dizzy is unmatched by any band I've ever seen
What? No mention of Chris Pittman?
Sorry. I couldn't resist

What's wrong with a good pop rock album?
Besides, the leaks we've heard are a little bit of everything. There's pop, rock, heavy stuff, slow unusual arrangements that are cool as fuck, er, I mean twat.
I haven't actually heard any of the leaks. But the wide variety that you speak of doesn't surprise me. The Illusion albums had Ballads, Boogie, Swamp Rock, Punk, Metal and one rap song. Anyone who doesn't expect a wide variety of music from Chinese Democracy is crazy

I lurk more than I post on here. But I agree that differences of opinion shouldn't turn people into enemies

I think that it'll be out this year. With the record companys cryptic announcement that there are "13 tuesdays" left in 2006, I tend to believe that the cd will be out this year. Of course with Axl you can never be 100% sure of anything. But I think that this will be the year. So I am not one of the pessimistic ones here

Double Album
in 2006
I seriously doubt that it will be a double cd. I just doubt it
-
I like them. Perhaps I should have clicked on the "don't know much by them, but like them" option since I never got around to buying any of their cds. But I clicked on the 1st option listed

I own a lot of music that will shock the rest of you. But it's not music that I regret buying. It's been a while since I bought a cd where I said "What is this crap?" after listening to it. Although I have done it before

Bust a Nut by Tesla. I just wore out my 5th copy of that cd and I need my 6th

"I just got a replay from Richard Fortus. This is part of the email.
To answer your question, yes, the plan is still to
release multiple records over the next few years. Hopefully starting
in Sept. We are currently rehearsing for our tour in Europe this
summer and the band is sounding better than ever. Hope to see you in
September here in the states.
thanks for your continued support.

Fabulous if it turns out to be true. I'm not going to debate whether it was the real Richard Fortus speaking or not. I'll leave that to other people

I agree with all of the people who don't think It'll ever be released
When did you first become a GN'R fan?

I first heard Guns n' Roses in 1987. I'll be honest. I did not like WElcome to The Jungle when I first heard it and at first I wasn't willing to give Sweet Child O' Mine even a chance because I must have been like "That welcome to the Jungle band again". But funny story, I accidently stumbled upon the middle of Sweet Child O' Mine shortly after convincing myself that I wasn't gonna give the song a shot. Well I thought that the part of the song that I stumbled upon was awesome. So I eventually listened to the whole song as well as revisiting Welcome To the Jungle again. And I decided that I loved both songs. So by the time Paradise City became popular, I was over my aversion to Guns n' Roses, I was more than willing to give that song a shot. And I liked it too. Before long I was willing to own the Appetite For Destruction cassette (my first copy of the cd was bought for me by my poor Aunt, who I don't think could afford cds at the time). I do now own Appetite For Destruction on cd. I think I inherited his copy. But that's my story about how I first became a Guns n' Roses fan
