There is also some singing in al the g3 jams of all the 3 cd's

Lucky Bastard

I bought Mafia after this dude at my local guitar shop played it for me one day when i was there. I had always liked Zakk's work with Ozzy so i picked up Mafia, great cd and i'd have to say my favorite track is "Dirt On The Grave"

I plan to get the other albums when i get the money.

I am a Big Prog Fan, and this is ALL True

The comfortably numb solo isnt a great solo by itself. It's greatness is just magnified if you will, by the synths, and the crazy drums. The rythym in that song, helps that solo give us almost a euphoric feeling ;| But by itself, that solo just a basic blues solo. The rythym does alot of that solo. And because of that i think its definatly the greatest solo of all time.

you're right it isn't a 16-note-per-second-solo, it's actually very easy to play, but nobody and i mean nobody can play it like David Gilmour

I prefer kirk, he just wrote some kick ass solo's, he is also the first guitarplayer who impressed me, so therefore he's my favourite. technicall he's also great, just listen to the solo on live shit. it's just amazing. Kirk is Amazing. my favourite alltime rock1
