Doesn't seem to be any interest at that price though. Damn shame, because I've got one and could really use the money.

I also have this shirt (in better condition too) and could also use the money.... but a) I would never sell it and b) trying to sell it for $/£775 more than they paid for it? Disgraceful. I hope the moths get it before anyone pays that much for it.

Awww what was Izzy doing there? In the dark.....

And who are these people next to him. They look like men, don’t they? The right one wears a very smart hat and something like Izzy’s jeans jacket from the 80s. I wonder if this is a woman? Can’t see the face.

It's Timo Kaltio in the hat and Izzy appears to warming up before going on.

I think there’s two interviews: one with a current GNR member, Dizzy and another with a jujuhound, most likely Jimmy.

In both cases he led people to believe it was something else to gain attention. Hopefully that second interview will be worth the wait.

It seems to be the case - a lot of people hinting or implying it might be Izzy because it creates interest, hits on their website, retweets etc. Because that's what they want and they know everyone wants it to be Izzy.

I will look forward to Jimmy's interview - he's one of my favourite musicians of all time and a really interesting (and funny) dude.

All this sneaking around the house and fucking with his head - I bet he still hates that.

And I bet he dislikes people like Art Tavana and the woman Mikaela who was interview on GnR Central podcast recently. They were both sneaking around Izzy’s house / gateway, leaving a „gift“, Art leaving a note. It is not „classy“ as they said, going to someone’s house and leaving something at the mailbox or at the gateway. Especially if you don’t know them personally and they’re famous. What if everybody think they’ve got the bloody right to just go there and please their curiosity. Have some respect for the artist you claim to love. Or for Art, have some respect for the profession you’re saying you have. As a journalist you can write an email, twitter, write a letter. It is not ok if you do „what a postman would do“ as one of the GnR Central guys said. If that’s what you want, send your stuff via mail. Don’t bloody go there, walk around his street and hope to meet him to be able to talk to him because it is „more special“ than just listening to the music or going to a show. It is intrusive behaviour and stalking to me. And also I don’t think it is ok to open an auditorium for people like Mikaela or Art on a podcast.

Sorry, had to vent here and obviously only my 2cents.

I don't really expect anything at this point. If something happens, it happens. If not, so be it. Obviously it would be great if they could patch things up and Izzy would perform with them somewhere.  I don’t think that there’s any true animosity between Izzy and the others ( by others I mean Ginger Spice, Snake Charmer and Business-punk).  They had a disagreement and things didn’t work out. The loot- tweet obviously indicated that Izzy was pissed off at the time because of what Axl said in that interview. But I think the bigger drama was happening online and among fans. And things have cooled down since.

I became much more pessimistic about this subject after the the Apollo Show last summer.  And I kind of have a feeling that Izzy could be done with Gn’R for good. That he just doesn’t give a fuck anymore. But we will see.

On an unrelated note; I listened to Deep Purple last weekend and now there’s nonstop jukebox in my head. I can’t make it stop…
Here’s my mum’s big crush from her youth: Deep Purple’s singer Ian Gillan, THE voice of the band for many fans (they've had many vocalists over the years) Sadly his voice is not the same anymore.

Happy birthday to the guy who grabbed my heart from the moment I opened up the Lies album given to me by my boyfriend as a birthday gift in 1989.

When I looked to "the one in black with the cigarette" I knew I was lost. And I still am.

I wish only the best to you, Izzy. Love, happiness, health, respect, etc. And, in the name of my biggest fear, I ask you to never stop making music and never, ever, disappear. Happy birthday!!! :takethat::takethat::takethat:

Same here! I don't mind admitting that when I was a teenager and I realised I could get served in bars, I definitely stole more than a bit of Izzy's style - lots of black (including the hair!) leopard print coats, hats and waistcoats - never had any yellow leather pants though!

Do.you believe that if the three guys call him and tell him to participate in this tour steven won't.. ???he is the only guy.from five who really wants the reunion... Also, as fas as i remember he appeared in some shows...personally i dont think  he is reliable....

Hmmm... I don't know. I gave up trying to second guess what this band do a long time ago! I think Adler would like a reunion, but whether he could handle the pressure of it.... I don't think he could. Personally.

fo rsome reason even izzy who is a cool guy prefers cooperation with matt than steven.. Probably fans like steven but this is not an evidence about his professionalism to the other members. I dont believe that he is going to participtate in any event with steven...More possible to see him with aerosmith or hollywood vampires.

Earlier this year, Adler was interviewed and came out with: “This whole GN’R thing, trust me – in 2016 and 2017, them not using me and Izzy [Stradlin], that would have been the perfect excuse for me to go off and start drinking and drugging"....

Imagine being Izzy - whose spent a long time clean and sober - listening to Steven coming out with this and Izzy running a mile. When I was younger, I certainly had my moments with dabbling and booze, and now I'm (much) older and a clean living hippy,  I wouldn't even want to be in the same room as someone who said this nevermind a tour, so I can't really blame Izzy on that score. Plus, I think Matt's style is certainly leans more towards Izzy's style now.

Saying that though - Steven was the drummer in my favourite band, a childhood idol of sorts, his picture still hangs on my wall and I wish him nothing but the very best of luck with everything in his life!

I'm flying home to see The Stones in Croke Park May 17 and London on the 22.....Maybe it's a hint that they will be supporting The Stones in Croker as a warm up show for their European Tour.....

AC/DC supported The Stones maybe 10 years ago.

( clutching at straws to justify the F**kin $ I'm  spending going to see a band in their 70s) 😂

Axl & Slash could come out and play sympathy for the devil with the stones. The healing process come full f**kin circle.... Peace on earth & good will to all men, bollocks like that.

I wonder if Guns will still be touring in their 70s......

Ha!  I've also spent a small fortune on tickets to sit at the back of Old Trafford (cock up with the pre-sale tickets) and watch the Stones and then GnR at Donnington four days later. It'll be great if someone half decent turned up at the Stones as a special guest and more bands I actually like are announced for the Saturday at Download to justify that expense!

Yes, there are tons of people of Irish descent here in the US, and many more that claim it.  Kiss me, I'm Irish!

My town has an annual parade, and of course Chicago has a big parade and dyes the river green.

In England, it's a big thing too - irrespective of whether you've any Irish descent - it's just an excuse for a lot of people to spend the day in the pub!

What people are sayin' about Chalo is true. I offered to help him and to start a GoFund ... cause he was really sick. His Sister said it was related to heart issues. The thing is that he was asking for help and only a few cared, and when I said to him: Chalo please let me help you, I wanna start a go fund if you want. He called me but I couldn't answer the call cause my internet connection was terrible, and when I explained that to him, he didn't answer to me anymore... I can imagine how alone he was feeling... I hope that Iz didn't get mad about my tweets replying a girl who said that he was acting cold ... I was pissed cause she was judging without knowing and I guess it was worse cause he deleted those tweets, but I'm really sad about how the whole situation was... I'm writing this here cause I think the best is to people know the truth of what happened, and I'm sorry if Izzy felt bad about it, I just though it was unfair, because chalo and him had good memories of each other and now a bunch of people is saying shit about Izzy and the truth is that he had a lot of closer friends reading about his situation on FB everyday and they didn't do a thing... and according to Chalo, he and Izzy didn't speak in years, he even said that on a lot of interviews. So I'm sorry for saying this but I have to, I feel so angry that I can't even sleep, I have to do this in memory of Chalo.

I saw that conversation between you and that girl - nobody knows how Izzy was feeling and it's hard to express emotion in a couple of tweets and to be fair, Izzy isn't exactly a man of many words on Twitter anyway. She wasnt really been fair to you or him. Between comments like those and the inevitable ones about GnR, Izzy has now deleted some of his tweets. It's hardly surprising he doesn't really put himself "out there" much.

I just feel so gutted by this whole thing. I know I've talked about it before in the Women's thread, but when I was going though all of my health issues the Ju Ju Hounds album is usually what got me through the bad days. Knowing that somebody who affected my life in such a positive way died because he couldn't get help is just fucked up. :(

I get this totally - Ju Ju Hounds was the second gig I ever went too and probably one that holds some of the fondest memories for me and the album has certainly helped me through some fairly horrible crap in my life. I'm just really, really quite upset that this poor guy has passed away in what seemed like really quite horribly sad circumstances.

The money Izzy makes in royalties is his regardless of him pissing off band members or not, so I don’t see he has to keep anybody  sweet. I just think he hates drama.

I would get excited for the band a whole lot more if they gave more back, I love the way Rolling Stones or Pearl Jam involve fans in concerts, celebrate music catologues, etc .. There would be so much less drama involved with GnR if they were more transparent and inclusive of thier fan base.

Having said that, what they are doing is working, so why worry.

Don't get me started on the Rolling Stones.... three hours I sat in an online queue yesterday for tickets for one of their UK Shows. Stress level through the roof! Got some though.... 😂😂😂

  14. I’ve always respected Izzy for being the quiet and mysterious one from that band and not sharing every intricate detail of his life and what he had for dinner on Social Media, so I hope he does respond to the stuff Niven has just come out with. Preferably before any of the other three do. Really, because I don’t want to see him being branded as flaky or money-orientated as I genuinely don’t see him as being either of those things. I do think he’s a straight up guy and their probably was an issue with not being paid fairly – I don’t really care about A/D/S having their business heads on and trying to decide how much they should charge for an overpriced mug at a concert or how Axl bought rights to stuff in the mid-nineties and filed a lawsuit against everyone in the universe, at the end of the day, without those songs that Izzy either wrote outright or heavily contributed too, they wouldn’t be playing very many tracks at their live shows and for that he should be paid, equally if a full-time member. But I’d also be willing to bet that there would be an element of WTF with Izzy as he’s a no-frills rock n roll dude who may have just wanted to play no frills rock n’ roll shows rather than this massive overpriced commodity that it is now – could someone please tell me what the girl with the blue-hair is actually doing in the band? As I watched her for 3 hours in London last year and I still don’t know (no disrespect intended however, because if someone paid me what she is being paid to bounce about on stage with 3 members of GnR, I’d do it as well). Izzy walked away from the band in the early nineties because of it becoming ridiculous (as well as his new-found sobriety) and maybe he views GnR as being a business rather than a band the same way. Or he could’ve realised he’d be expected to be second fiddle to Fortus and that pissed him off as well. Or it could be something else entirely. Who knows, but Niven sure knows how to give a half story and stoke a fire. Or Niven could be talking shit too, which wouldn’t surprise me either.

Of course, I could be totally wrong, Izzy doesn’t really care about anything other than a paycheque and I’ve backed the wrong guy for the past 26 years. (But I sincerely doubt that though).
